00:00valve is recommending you test it out with half-life alex by the time this comes out it'll
00:03be out that half-life alex will run natively on the arm chip within that yeah so that's why they're
00:09talking about like there'll be a native arm version of alex that you can play standalone you don't need
00:13your pc you can play it on there it's a great game but no one else is putting that level
00:17of
00:17development into vr games and haven't for the past six years sorry vr people sorry i know people are
00:23making vr games but like there isn't the level of investment because there isn't the level of
00:28return on that investment in vr games it's it's still a very niche subset of gaming that isn't
00:35going to generate the cash returns needed to justify spending millions and millions and millions
00:39developing like top-end games i think we've seen more development and more like change and sort of
00:44the top game you still see some of the same people in the top charts for the meta quest on
00:49their store
00:50and but i think that's probably why valve is also when you've got that arm and you're going to bring
00:53that um support like apks to steam and bring that ecosystem in i think they sort of also accept they
01:00kind of have to bring that ecosystem in because that is where the games are being developed
