00:00As the third crew member is egressing the vehicle.
00:32Some waves there.
00:36There you can see the hatch is being opened and you did hear those.
00:43And it looks like that is NASA.
00:54It looks like that is NASA astronaut Jessica Muir making her way out there.
01:01The first one to slide back onto Earth.
01:04It's like NASA astronaut pilot Jack Hathaway.
01:12Looks like he is all smiles as he concludes his first space flight.
01:17So Jack has now logged 237 days in space during Expedition 74 and 75.
01:24Looks like he is all smiles and waves there as he makes his way back over to the medical.
01:29And our fourth and final crew member.
01:49Sliding home Mission Specialist Andre Fedyaev completing the crew egressing the Dragon Freedom
02:02spacecraft today.
02:05And we are standing by for splashdown.
02:08Again, expected to take place about a minute from now at 11.34 a.m. Eastern time, 8.30.
02:14Awesome.
02:16All right, standing by for splashdown.
02:24So Dragon Freedom has returned home and Jessica, Jack, Sophie and Andre are back on Earth after
02:30an approximately 27 and a half hour return journey from space, completing more than seven
02:35and a half months of a science expedition aboard the International Space Station.
02:40And then after it is lifted onto the recovery ship.
02:44That the vehicle is safe.
02:47The thrusters are on the outside of the vehicle.
02:50For those of you who are just joining us, the reentry and splashdown process today has gone smoothly
02:57so far.
02:58So Dragon did successfully splashdown off the coast of Los Angeles, California.
03:0312's journey as Dragon will be lifted out of the water and placed on the recovery boat.
03:09At the point of landing, which we saw about 16 minutes ago, Dragon did automatically release
03:16its main parachutes to prevent-
03:29And Dragon Freedom is officially on board.
03:34And there you can see the translation is now beginning.
03:40Once it moves over to that platform, it'll be a lot easier to remove that hatch.
03:45There you can see the platform there on your screen.
03:51They're washing off some of that ocean water in preparation for a hatch opening.
04:01Of course, there will be some additional cleaning of the spacecraft afterwards, but it's important.
