00:00For me, the reason why we put John's death in this season has everything to do with Benedict
00:05and Sophie. The obstacle between them is so large and for the time period in so many ways so
00:12insurmountable. It felt like it took something that shocking to shift Benedict and Violet's
00:20perspectives. When you lose someone close to you or close to someone you love, it reminds you that
00:26life is short and that love is the most important thing at the end of the day and that obstacles
00:30like class really ultimately don't matter. Anyone who's been through serious grief knows that it's
00:35not something that starts and stops. You don't take a magic pill and then you feel better and you
00:42move on. So I think Francesca is definitely going to continue to deal with the grief as time goes on.
