00:00Okay, so don't get me wrong. I have some movies that are personal favorites that I think are
00:06masterpieces to me that I would never argue are the best films. So those are like Vampire's Kiss.
00:13But I wouldn't argue that Nicolas Cage should have won an Oscar for eating a live water bug.
00:19However, influencers who are into Digger are doing just that, right? The movie got a pretty bad 53%
00:27fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It did terrible at the box office. But if you look at influencers
00:32and what they're saying about the movie, it's not just that they're saying, hey, it's misunderstood
00:37or we really dig it. It's that they're saying Tom Cruise will obviously win a Best Actor Oscar for
00:46this film. And the influencers who feel that way have a bunch of things in common. The word
00:53Masterpiece is mentioned a lot. Digger had a kind of odd event for influencers when they unveiled the
01:01trailer. And I wonder if a lot of the people kind of digging the film were at that event. A
01:08lot of
01:08them seem to have been at the premiere. Check out today's Page Six Hollywood newsletter. You can read
01:13more about it. I have an open mind. I mean, let me know what you think.
