00:11rose 4.3 percent, pushing the deficit to $105.6 billion, up 13.7 percent from July and above
00:19the $102 billion Dow Jones estimate. The gap was the widest since March 2025, before President
00:25Trump's Liberation Day tariffs. The year-to-date deficit of $138.2 billion remained nearly
00:3220 percent below the same period last year. Nationwide economist Oren Klashkin said net
00:36trade is expected to weigh on third-quarter GDP growth. Goldman Sachs lowered its third-quarter
00:41growth estimate to 3.1 percent, while the Atlanta Fed's GDP Now tracker cut its estimate to 3.7 percent.
