00:00Tis the season for cold weather and hot drinks.
00:02We are making hot buttered rum,
00:04cause that sounded delicious and I've earned it.
00:07Starts with hot water, two cups of brown sugar.
00:10Stick of butter, a little pinch of salt, some cloves.
00:13If this doesn't scream holiday, I don't know what does.
00:16Got some cinnamon sticks.
00:17Besides being delicious,
00:18this is gonna make your house smell incredible.
00:20You just let this go low and slow till you're about ready.
00:24You see how that butter has started like floating to the top?
00:26Now, let's add in the rum.
00:29See, all of that is not butter.
00:31It's just like the magic of the cocktail.
00:33Top it with some whipped cream,
00:35a little fresh grated nutmeg.
00:37Cheers to our crock pots.
00:43Ooh, that is lovely.
00:45It's warm and I don't mean temperature,
00:46but you get that warm spice from the clove
00:49and the cinnamon and even that nutmeg on top.
00:51But mixed with the butter,
00:53I mean, it is like a warm baked dessert.
00:55Despite the fact that there are two cups of rum in there,
00:57it's not very boozy.
00:59And then we move out.
00:59Get the drink in there.
