00:00An honor to be with you.
00:01I want to congratulate Pete Hegseth on doing such a great job.
00:05We had a thing called Venezuela that went quickly.
00:07And we're doing extremely well in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
00:13Very well.
00:14They have no military shot.
00:17The whole place is shot.
00:19And they were the evil one.
00:21They were the bully of the Middle East.
00:23They're not so much to bully anymore.
00:24But we have to finish up.
00:26And it's only a question of which way.
00:28Do we want to do it the nice way or the not-so-nice way?
00:31And pretty soon you'll find out.
00:34A very special hello to a brilliant group of people.
00:38Brilliant men and women of Underhill Industries.
00:43And the patriots of the greatest maritime power ever
00:47to dominate the seas, the United States Navy.
00:58And we're especially pleased to be joined by the talented midshipmen of the one and only
01:04U.S. Naval Academy.
01:06That's a big deal.
01:11I remember I had a lot of smart friends years ago when I was in high school.
01:16They wanted to go to the Naval Academy.
01:18They couldn't get in.
01:19I said, you're not smart enough to get in.
01:22Too bad, isn't it?
01:23And it's only gotten tougher.
01:25So I congratulate you.
01:26I want to give a special salute to the sailors aboard the USS Billings, who have just returned
01:33from a deployment to the Caribbean where they helped decimate the cartel terrorists and delivered 77,000 pounds of life
01:42-saving aid to the people of Venezuela.
01:45And we're getting along great with Venezuela.
01:47We're taking out billions and billions of dollars of oil.
01:51We paid for that voyage, that little voyage we've made many, many times over.
01:57You don't hear that much anymore in this country, but to the victor belong the spoils, right?
02:05An old-fashioned expression that we've brought back.
02:09But I'd like to give a very big round of applause to those people.
02:13They have done a fantastic job, and thank you very much.
02:22To all members of our armed forces, please be at ease also, just relax, take it easy.
02:27Because this is fun for me to do.
02:30I love to see this.
02:31I love you people.
02:32You're the best.
02:33Anywhere in the world, you're the best.
02:34It's really a lot of fun.
02:36So just enjoy it.
02:39If you enjoy Trump, if you don't enjoy Trump — by the way, I'm going around doing rallies.
02:44The Republican Party is starting to go right through the roof.
02:47Somebody said today, I wonder why.
02:49Well, I started — I had to get out.
02:51I had to do — we had to explain what we're doing.
02:53There's never been a time like this in our country.
02:55We have $21 trillion being invested, but we have to say it because the media doesn't
03:02like talking about that.
03:04I used to call them the fake news, but as president, I have to be a little more respectful
03:07of the media than that.
03:09So now, I call them the artificial news.
03:12I took artificial off the word intelligence, and I call it superintelligence, which is really
03:19much better.
03:21It's really much more accurate, because it's really not artificial intelligence.
03:24It's superintelligence.
03:25It's artificial means fake.
03:27So I call them the artificial media, but let's not get into that.
03:32But we are doing like no country has ever done — $21 trillion, and we're building plants.
03:39We're building everything.
03:39Most importantly, we're building a military.
03:43We had a trillion dollars the first time that's ever taken place, and we're going to
03:47be upping that a little bit with Pete and General Kane and all of the people that we meet with.
03:54I rebuilt our military my first term, and we've used it a little bit in my second term, and
04:02I'm very honored to have done it.
04:03What we've done is incredible, all for peace and all for goodwill.
04:06Today, we're officially launching the construction of the largest new shipyard in the United States.
04:13This is since World War II.
04:15There's been nothing like what we're doing today.
04:17The workers of Baltimore and the shipyard here at Sparrows Point have been a vital part
04:24of the American industrial strength for literally over 100 years.
04:28And along these very shores, American tradesmen built one of the first frigates in the US Navy.
04:34They forged the steel that built the Empire State Building and the Golden Gate Bridge.
04:39And this is where the patriots of Baltimore built the first ever liberty ship in the Second World War.
04:47There's a tremendous history.
04:48I flew over it just now.
04:50And boy, it's a great piece of being a real estate developer initially, always have.
04:56I said, that's a nice piece of real estate.
04:58And it's big.
04:59This is going to be some big yard.
05:01When I came into office for my second term, less than two years ago, this national treasure
05:08was abandoned and it was totally forgotten, but it's not forgotten any longer.
05:15In a tremendous victory for our country and for the city of Baltimore,
05:20Anderil is investing $3.7 billion in a state-of-the-art shipyard that will be
05:25known forever as Arsenal too.
05:28It's one of the most, one of the biggest and one of the most significant shipyards.
05:34I think soon, very soon will be anywhere in the world will be as significant as any.
05:39That's what we're looking for.
05:40Right here in Sparrows Point, you'll build the next generation of American submarines,
05:45including autonomous subs, torpedo tubes, and critical components for our cutting-edge
05:52Virginia-class attack submarines, the greatest and quietest ever built.
05:57And thanks to record funding from my administration, the Republicans in Congress, the U.S. Navy is also
06:04contributing an additional $2.9 billion to support the shipyard with the possibility of ultimately,
06:12together with a lot of great patriots, $21 billion in future purchases.
06:17thank you, sir!
06:18Thank you!
