2️⃣ Search for Windows Security.
3️⃣ Open Windows Security.

6️⃣ Wait while Windows Security checks your PC.
7️⃣ Review the scan results after the scan finishes.
8️⃣ Follow Windows Security's recommendations if a threat is detected.

Windows 11 reached end of support on October 14, 2025. Microsoft says unsupported Windows 11 PCs are more vulnerable to viruses and other security threats. Eligible devices can use Windows 11 Extended Security Updates (ESU) for continued security updates, or you can upgrade to Windows 11 where supported. Microsoft Support
