00:03John, I want to start with you, because I've heard some actors say that working with contacts or any sort
00:07of eye prosthetic can really, like, impact their performance, especially in, like, emotional moments.
00:12But I'm just curious if that was challenging or if that impacted the way you approached some of those scenes.
00:17I think, you know, the context and not being able to see and the aging makeup, I think it all
00:24helped.
00:24It all helped me create this character for me to get lost in Eumaeus' sort of love of Odysseus, because
00:33he thinks of him as his surrogate son.
00:35He sacrificed everything to run the property for Odysseus, so he has no real family or real life. His life
00:43is all Odysseus.
00:44So I was able to filter all that, and when he comes back from the war, I was, like, I
00:49was incredibly moved.
00:50I was really weeping. It was really bizarre. I don't know.
00:53It was beautiful to watch.
00:55Oh, thank you.
