00:33THE END
01:18Red River Johnny was coming home. With him rode the sons of men who had ridden with
01:24his father, they were determined to help him reclaim his heritage, peaceably if possible,
01:30by force if necessary. Red River Johnny had inherited his father's name. He had earned
01:37his reputation in defense of that name. Home had been a ranch in the valley until he was
01:43fifteen, been on his own ever since then. But the story had begun long before he had been
01:50born. Justice had not yet come to the valley and each man carried the law in his holster.
01:56A split second was the difference between being judge and jury or a bullet riddled corpse
02:01in the dust. His father had earned the bitter resentment of a man named Three Finger Jack,
02:08and the smoldering hatred had erupted into a blazing gun duel.
02:21The End
02:24The End
02:39The End
02:42One shot, Johnny had blasted himself loose from society. Recovering from his wounds, Johnny
02:48had found himself an outcast, wanted for murder. Other men, equally contemptuous of authority,
02:56were soon riding with him. Men like himself who lived and died by the guns. Men who had committed
03:04acts of lawlessness beyond pardon. Men with a price on their heads. Men whose guns were notched
03:11with the scores of their killings. Men whose pictures bore the captions, wanted.
03:23The End
03:23When damned to death, his property confiscated, Johnny had become an outlaw. His rolling six-shooter
03:30earned him the name of Red River Johnny, a synonym for bloodshed and terror throughout the entire
03:37southwest. He deserved his reputation. Fearless and without regard for the risk, he would leave
03:51his men outside a town and enter alone to plan each hold of.
03:57Hello little Arkansas. You looking for something? Any law against it?
04:09You won't get away with it in my town, little Arkansas. You got nothing on me, Bill. Before I clean
04:16out the express office, why do you call me little Arkansas? Because you remind me of a farmer trying to
04:22be
04:23a bad man. Name Red River Johnny, for instance. It sounds like a man, but I don't think you're any
04:30part
04:31of a man. Be careful, Johnny. This is Wild Bill's way of vaking you into a gunfight.
04:36Tell you what. You count to three. If I beat you, I take it. If you beat me...
04:44One. Two. An ace. A pair of six is to beat, Bill.
04:53I guess we'll call this one a draw, Mr. Red River. A man can come from Arkansas and
05:01still beat you, my boy.
05:02I'm sorry.
05:03I'm sorry.

10:29Till now, I considered you as my brother.
10:32I'm warning you, lay a hand on me and I'll kill you.
10:35Johnny's getting too old, he can't handle these men anymore.
10:39I'm gonna start leading my own bunch, Cherokee.
10:41So I'm getting too old, am I?
10:43And you couldn't lead a horse to drink.
10:47Drop that gun, I'll take you apart with my bare hands.
10:50Let me take him, Red River.
11:21Let me take you apart.
11:30Let's go.
11:39Well, it looks like you've had enough.
11:41Now get on your horse and get out of here.
11:44Like I told you.
11:45The rest of you.
11:52But, it was the end of an era.
11:56Deputized by batmasters, Johnny was ruthlessly hunted by the men who had once been his partners in crime.
12:04They gave an ask no quarter.
12:31They gave an ask no quarter.
12:33Honey.
12:33There's three of them.
12:50Wow, that's right.

14:35Are you all right, General?
14:37Yeah, I reckon.
14:38I just had a brush with that master's outfit.
14:52Must we spend the rest of our lives fighting and killing, trying to get even with someone?
14:57They stole our ranch, our horses, our cattle.
15:01And I ain't leaving these parts until somebody pays the price.
15:04John, I think we better go away someplace.
15:07Start all over again.
15:09Away from this bloodshed.
15:10For the sake of young John.
15:16All right, Kathy.
15:19I'll go with you.
15:33Are you all right, John?
15:40Let's get out of here.
15:45Johnny's father was gone now, but the memory of his exploits remained.
15:51Young Johnny knew that he would be condemned for the sins of his father and that there would be a
15:55cold welcome for him in the valley.
16:00You know, Canada, I can't understand why people are so dead set against Johnny coming back here and taking over
16:06that old Red River ranch.
16:08Yeah, I know.
16:08That pig-headed sheriff.
16:09He ain't got sense enough to know that Johnny's trying to live down the bad name this old man made
16:13around these parts.
16:15Morning, boys.
16:16Say, sheriff, can we talk to you for a few moments?
16:18Well, I'm not the sheriff.
16:20I'll try to help what's on your mind.
16:22We're looking for rashes up for sale.
16:24Got three or four up for sale for back taxes.
16:27Know which one you want?
16:28Yeah, we'd like to see about that Red River ranch.
16:31I hate to tell you this, boys, but if you're connected with Red River Johnny, I'm afraid Masters won't help
16:36you any.
16:37He left orders to jail Red River Johnny if we see him.
16:41Well, what for?
16:43It seems him and his horse was seen up at the Cinco Basin bank robbery last week.
16:47See you later, boys.
16:49We better get to Johnny.
16:51Yeah.
17:35Hi, Valley, where are you heading?
17:37Just aren't Ryan and Johnny.
17:38Mind if I join you?

18:16I am cowboy, ring him boy, ring him good.
18:29I am cowboy.
18:58Johnny, we have been riding together for three years.
19:00You've hardly spoken to me.
19:03Am I that uninteresting?
19:05That isn't it, Valley.
19:07I just don't have time for anybody.
19:10There's always time if you want it.
19:14Or is it that?
19:21Well, come around when you have time for a real woman.
19:42You've got a tough job on your hands, kid.
19:45What happened?
19:46Well, that sheriff there, Johnny, he just plain don't like you.
19:48That Masters is a tough hombre.
19:51And when we told him his friends at Red River Johnny, he just quit talking.
19:55Well, as you know, fellas, I was raised here.
19:59My old man killed his back in the days when it was hard to tell the difference between good and
20:03bad.
20:03Well, he told us that, too.
20:05And when we told him you was coming back here to take your pa's old place, he plain hit the
20:08ceiling.
20:10That old man of yours must have been a tough hombre.
20:12I heard some of the tallest tales about him I ever heard anybody in my life.
20:16Well, boys, I'm moving in.
20:18You don't feel lucky being with me anymore.
20:20Are you kidding, Johnny?
20:21It'll take a lot more than this Masters hombre to separate us.
20:24And besides, we want to find out this character that's been impersonating you.
20:27Well, we'll get him, too.
20:36That was a good ride you made there, kid.
20:38You think you'll be any good?
20:39Nah, he's a jackie.
20:41Not where to the corner.
20:43You think that Wild Bill, whoever he is, knows your auntie's tail?
20:47Well, I don't know, but we can see.
21:10Yeah, I think he knows.
21:13Well, let's get this camp straightened up.
21:36Oh, Billy.
21:41Billy, what's the matter?
21:42You know what the matter is.
21:44I've tried, Billy.
21:45Honest, I've tried.
21:46But I can't do any good with Johnny.
21:48He's just not interested.
21:50He'd get interested if you'd convince him.
21:52Now get on back there and turn on your womanly charm.
21:56But I want you, Billy.
22:00Do like I tell you now.
22:02Help me get his ranch and maybe we'll both have everything we want.
22:07Go on.
22:37I hope you two are enjoying yourselves.
22:45Well, what happened to her?
22:57All right, boys, the fun's over.
22:59We'll go out to my dad's ranch and see what we can salvage.
23:12Valley, I'm telling you, for the last time,
23:15stay away from him.
23:16He's too good for you.
23:18Now, isn't that too bad?
23:20Look who's talking.
23:22You're so much in love with him yourself.
23:24It shows every time you look at him.
23:27At least he isn't afraid I'll stick a knife in his back.
23:44Oh, my God.
24:40Hold up, Billy.
24:42Hold up, Billy.
24:43Hold up, Billy.
24:50Word's getting around that I'm holding up stages and banks.
24:52You know anything about it?
24:54Now, why should I?
24:56I got business of my own to tend to.
24:58All I want to do is get back the deed to my dad's ranch.
25:02You riding this stocking-legged horse
25:03ain't helping my reputation any.
25:05It's a free country, ain't it?
25:08I don't want to cause you any trouble,
25:10but if this stocking-legged horse of yours
25:12has seen at any more of these holdups,
25:14I'm coming after you, Billy.
25:16Now, get out of here.
25:17Now, get out of here.
25:47A series of holdups and robberies occurred
25:50with mounting frequency.
25:53Bat Masters, following in his fame father's footsteps,
25:57was determined to put a halt to this outbreak of crime.
26:16with a ram going forward.
26:21Oh, it's working.
26:24Freeze!
26:25Don't go.
26:30You don't cut off.
26:30I got your asses.
26:30I got your asses.
26:30I got your asses.
26:44Let's get out of here, men.
26:45Looks like the sheriff's getting help.
27:22When did he get back?
27:24Yesterday.
27:25Your daughter seemed to be expecting him.
27:27I told you once to stay out of these parts.
27:29If you don't, I'm going to have to kill you.
27:31This is my home, Bat, and I intend to stay here.
27:35Bat, you're a fool.
27:36Johnny here never done the wrong thing in his life.
27:39Your pa has run out of these parts.
27:41It won't take much to run you out.
27:43The ranch you think is yours is now being sold for back taxes.
27:47You can keep my dad's name out of this, Bat.
27:49And in case you don't know it,
27:51I'm not going to have these killings and robbers laid at my door.
28:06Let's go.
28:07Let's go.
28:08Let's go.
28:08Let's go.
28:50Johnny!
28:54You shouldn't have come here, Johnny.
28:58You know Dad and the boys are just waiting for a chance to get evidence against you.
29:01You can stop worrying, Laurie.
29:03Your old man's an honest fellow.
29:04He may be stubborn as a Missouri mule, but if I can talk to him a few minutes, everything's going
29:08to be all right.
29:10Well, if you must.
29:11But I want to tell you this, Lord.
29:12Get away from him, Miss Masters.
29:14Who is it?
29:15Long-haired kid.
29:16That's what I wanted to tell you.
29:18Get away from me.
29:19Look, fellow.
29:20Why do you want to have trouble with me?
29:23Just because our dad's had differences, there's no reason why we should have.
29:28The great Red River Johnny, begging not to have any trouble.
29:32Now, Miss Masters, I'm going to show you how to make a bad man crawl.
29:35I'm going to show you how to make a bad man crawl.
30:04The minute my back was turning, he'd throw it down on me.
30:09Bat, the more I hear, the sicker I get.
30:13Bat, if you don't holster that gun, I'm going to put a hole in you that could drive a stagecoach
30:17through.
30:18Man's right, Dad.
30:19It was self-defense on Johnny's part all the way.
30:21If need be, I'll swear to that in court.
30:24You win this time, but take your dogs and get out of here.
30:26Get out of here.
30:39I'm a stubborn fool, dear, but I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were doing.
30:44Johnny and I were just good friends in school, Dad.
30:46Nothing serious.
30:48You said the governor offered him a special commission to be chief marshal of the state?
30:53Amazing how wrong I could be.
30:55You know what he said, Dad?
30:58He thanked the governor and told him he wanted to come back home
31:01and live in such a manner that people who would forget his dad was an outlaw
31:05and think of him as a fine man.
31:07I have a confession to make.
31:09It's quite possible he's right.
31:11You know, my dad, your grandfather, was sheriff here,
31:14and I've learned some things about him that might make a man want to kill him.
32:14Hold it, jerk.
32:16I'm glad to see you.
32:17I bet.
32:18Just wrote in to get some supplies.
32:19The mine payroll was held up again.
32:22Gee, that's tough.
32:23Means nobody gets paid again, huh?
32:25I'm holding you, jerk, E.
32:27For robbery and attempt murder.
32:32Dad!
32:34I was a fool.
32:36Believe that Johnny was on the level?
32:41Let him come!
