00:09Now we're going to continue in this drawing and check for clashes between the storm and
00:14sanitary networks. From Prospector, under Networks, right-click on Interference Checks
00:21and choose Create Interference Check. In the drawing, pick a part on the storm
00:28network and then pick a part on the sanitary network. In the Create Interference Check dialog,
00:37click on 3D Proximity Check criteria. Apply 3D Proximity Check should be selected. The
00:45used distance should be set to 1 foot. This will check for parts that are closer together
00:51than 1 foot. Click OK and then click OK again. Civil 3D will run the Interference Check and
01:02then display a message showing how many interferences were found. In Prospector, select the newly created
01:10Interference Check. In the Item List view, click on the first interference, right-click and choose
01:17zoom to. Review the interference. Repeat this for the second interference check. This time,
01:29there's not a hard clash, but it's a proximity clash. You could now adjust the networks to remove
01:36the interferences. Now we'll create a table in the drawing from our storm network. From the Annotate
01:43Ribbon tab, Labels and Tables panel, click on Add Tables, then Pipe Network, then Add Structure.
01:53In the Structure Table dialog, set the table style to Structure with Pipes. Buy Network is selected
02:02and the network should be set to Storm 1. Click OK to create the table. Place the table in the
02:10drawing
02:10away from the design. The table displays the structure information as well as details of both the
02:18incoming and outgoing pipes. Note that the structures are not displayed in any order. To sort the table,
02:28select it, then right-click and choose Edit Table Style. In the Table Style, on the Data Properties tab,
02:37select Sort Data, and ensure the sorting column is set to 1, and then click OK. The table in the
02:46drawing
02:46is now sorted properly. Finally, we'll create a report from our networks. In the Toolspace, click on the Toolbox tab.
02:57Expand Reports Manager, then expand Pipes. Select the Pipes and Structures report. Right-click, choose a
03:07Execute. In the Export to XML dialog, deselect everything. Then scroll down, and select Pipe Networks, and then click OK.
03:20Set the report type to HTML, and enter a name for the report. Click Save. The report
