00:00You know, I think another team that I really want to highlight sitting in third place,
00:03obviously, we've been talking about Miami all season long,
00:06but we have to talk about their game versus San Diego this weekend.
00:09The 2-2 draw, I think this was really highlighted the pros and also the cons of Miami, right?
00:17They're able to put away goals, but they're not able to keep, you know, their team defensively strong.
00:22At the back, Sinclair is a goalkeeper that has not been at the level that we expected of him,
00:27but he is a very experienced goalkeeper with international experience, Caicedo, Falcón.
00:32Now the addition of Casemiro in the back, giving this back line real, you know, experience and composure to come
00:41out the back to create.
00:43And very quickly, Casemiro has already scored three goals.
00:45And then we have De Paul, Bright and Galarza, a midfielder that had been doing their work.
00:51Okay. I don't think that they're one of the best midfield sections of the league.
00:56But then if you look at the top, you have, you know, three top level strikers in Messi, Suarez, and
01:03Verterame.
01:04You can interchange any of them on a 1-2, 2-1, 3-off top.
01:09You have a lot of options, yet they don't seem to just solidify their campaign.
01:17And I definitely think that that shows up in their matches, right?
01:19This past game against San Diego, they're having 21 shots compared to only seven shots from San Diego.
01:26But we're not seeing this type of intensity in the defense.
01:28And I think this is definitely going to come back to bite them in the playoff season.
01:34That's, without a doubt, one of the reasons why Miami has always struggled to dominate from beginning to end on
01:40a season.
01:40It's because their defensive squad has not been at the level.
01:45But Casemiro's here, and he might be the one changing that, Camila.
01:49So, what is next, Camila?
01:51Should we travel across to the West Coast?
01:54I was about to say, definitely, because there's a lot to talk about there.
01:56West Coast with Nashville, my friends.
02:00Nashville.
02:01Oh, this is a supporter shield.
02:03You want to go over to supporters?
02:05Top 10 LAFC is squeaking into the top 10.
02:09San Jose, Charlotte, Dallas, and San Luis.
02:12All the West Coast in the bottom.
02:14And then most of the East Coast dominating.
02:17Inter, the Miami, New England Revolution.
02:19Their Vancouver Whitecaps.
02:21That now it seems to be, for many seasons now, the top team in the West, Camila.
02:25That's a reality that we have to deal with.
02:28And let's go back to the standings.
02:30For the West Coast.
02:31I think, you know, don't want to start talking about LAFC too soon.
02:36But we've just seen them dropping in the rankings.
02:39You know, last week we were talking about how they had had, or two weeks ago,
02:43they were finally getting some momentum.
02:45Two, three wins under the belt.
02:46I'm just not seeing that from them this season.
02:49Not seeing that right now.
02:50I agree.
02:51Look at the teams that we have on top right now.
02:53Houston Dynamo, San Luis, Dallas, and San Jose Earthquake are rounding of the top five.
02:59Vancouver is now, at this point, we are used to seeing Vancouver off the top of the standings.
03:0549 points.
03:06Lost 33 on a goal differential.
03:09Really, really impressive from them.
03:11But the group is tight.
03:13Because there's only eight points between Los Angeles FC at sixth place.
03:18And the Vancouver Whitecaps with 49.
03:21So nothing is defined in the West Coast.
03:24If you see a little bit lower, now we see the Galaxy is climbing positions.
03:29We were talking about them being in the bottom third.
03:32And now, suddenly, they are in contention for the playoffs, Camila.
03:37What a turnaround for this team.
03:39They've been struggling for the last two years.
03:40It would be nice to see them at least see the playoffs.
03:45One round of playoffs for Galaxy.
03:47What do you think?
03:48I mean, that would be nice to see.
03:49One thing I definitely do want to see is LAFC versus Galaxy.
03:52Maybe even in the playoffs, that would be quite a match.
03:54But another team that I really want to highlight, San Diego, right?
03:58This is a team, low expectations, in my opinion, coming into this season.
04:02They're just on that cusp.
04:03They're a point away from getting into, you know, maybe that playoff contention.
04:07And I think that this is a team definitely to keep your eye on.
04:10I think they're an underdog.
04:11We've seen them, you know, kind of, you know, in the past four games not doing so well.
04:17But before that, definitely starting to build some momentum.
04:19So hopefully, in this final part of the season, we can see them pull it around.
04:23We'll see you next time.
