00:00Meanwhile, we have the Chargers tonight at home against the Eagles.
00:04Monday Night Football to wrap up Week 14.
00:06Philly is a slight favorite, two and a half points,
00:09but this team has lost its last two games.
00:11Super inconsistent, especially offensively right now.
00:14There's no Lane Johnson to help keep Jalen Hurts safe.
00:20Seems like A.J. Brown is the only one who might be offering
00:23some level of consistency in that offense these days,
00:26which is kind of crazy given how we talked about him earlier in the season.
00:30What do you think we get tonight?
00:32Yeah, Adam, my lean is on the Eagles here, but I'm a little worried about it.
00:36Like you mentioned, Lane Johnson being out, that just always hurts the Eagles offense.
00:40Their offensive line doesn't play nearly as well when he's out of the game,
00:43and obviously that has an impact just on the entire unit as a whole.
00:47They're also without Jalen Carter on the defensive line,
00:50so the Chargers might be able to run the ball a little bit better than usual.
00:53But I just look at this Chargers team, and I am worried about Justin Herbert in this matchup.
01:00They give up a ton of pressure.
01:02He's the most pressured quarterback in the league, gets hit a lot.
01:05He does a really good job of avoiding sacks.
01:08Right now, he is dealing with that injury to his left non-throwing wrist.
01:12He's going to try to play through it by all accounts.
01:14Sounds like he's going to be in the game.
01:16I'm just worried that the Eagles are going to bring a defensive approach
01:19that just focuses on trying to hit Herbert as much as they can,
01:23rattle him, and him knowing that he has kind of that injured hand
01:26might impact him as a passer, even though it's his non-throwing hand.
01:29So I just look at it from that perspective and say,
01:32hey, the Eagles probably have the slight edge here,
01:35even though they haven't been consistent.
01:36We know they have talent.
01:37We know they have really good defensive coaching.
01:40So I anticipate a low-scoring slugfest.
01:43I think the Eagles might come out of this with like a 17-13 type of win tonight, Adam.
01:47Eagles at 8-4 right now.
01:50They don't officially have that division locked up, but it's pretty close.
01:54I don't think the Cowboys are going to catch them.
01:55I don't think Philadelphia is in danger of not being a playoff team as a result.
01:59Chargers, they're not going to catch the Broncos.
02:01So you start to think about their wildcard future here at 8-4, Houston, Indianapolis,
02:07Baltimore, Kansas City, all teams that would love an opportunity to knock out the Chargers.
02:12Do you expect a level of urgency from L.A., or is Herbert's injury potentially too much to overcome?
02:18I think there will be some urgency just knowing that if they win,
02:22they're going to be in the driver's seat for the wildcard
02:24and really have a big advantage over the Chiefs.
02:26But I'm just too worried about that injury.
02:28I hate backing quarterbacks their first game after a big injury.
02:32So I want to see how Herbert looks before I'm willing to say,
02:35yes, he could play through this successfully.
02:37I don't.
02:37We'll see you next time as weiroï.
02:38Sorry about that injury.
