00:25Y along the way, ellos cambiaron sus nombres

00:29They were as revolutionary in their approach to humor
00:32As a man named Karl Marx was in his approach to philosophy and politics
00:36And spending a day with them at the races or a night at the opera
00:4087 minutes at the circus or 78 minutes waiting for room service
00:43Or a night in Casablanca
00:45You can count the minutes that they were on the screen
00:47But you cannot count the laughs
00:50Although the world has paid tribute to them for over 45 years
00:53With its love and its laughter and its devotion
00:56Tonight, the Academy, through the Board of Governors
00:59Is proud to pay this tribute to Groucho Marx

02:24She used to say, Julie, what are they laughing at?
02:29But most of all, I want to thank my mother, because without her, we never would have been
02:35anything.
02:36And last of all, I'd like to thank Erin Fleming, who makes my life worth living, and who understands
02:44all my jokes.
