00:17The following contest is
00:20the Mint Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
00:34Well, earlier on tonight Bayley won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
00:38She successfully cashed in.
00:40Who will win Mr. Money in the Bank?
00:43We'll find out right now.
00:44It could be this man for the second time.
00:48Baron Corbin looks to capture the Money in the Bank contract and
00:52well, rewrite his own history.
00:53Corbin knows the disappointment of failing to cash in that contract.
00:56But he also understands the power that comes with the ownership of the Money in
01:02the Bank contract.
01:02With Bayley's victory tonight in the cash in, it meant 82% of the time,
01:0818 out of 22, the Money in the Bank winner will cash in to win a world title.
01:22Ladies and gentlemen, as a special request,
01:26allow me to introduce a man who is the acting general manager of Monday Night Raw.
01:35A multiple time Golden Gloves boxing champion.
01:41A United States champion.
01:44A Money in the Bank winner.
01:48The man who defeated Kurt Angle in his farewell match at WrestleMania.
01:57And who claims to be Hartford's favorite son, Baron Corbin.
02:08There is some validity to that claim.
02:11I mean, to be fair, Hartford's got the Yardgoats and like a couple good groups.
02:15Stop. Please just stop.
02:16And Corbin definitely is his favorite thing.
02:18Hartford now as the Intercontinental Champion from SmackDown Live.
02:23From Grey County with New Ireland.
02:26He is the Intercontinental Champion, Finn Balor.
02:33It is every man for himself.
02:36The opportunity of a lifetime.
02:42Finn Balor had one opportunity in his career to compete on this night.
02:48Will tonight be magic for Finn?
02:53Finn Balor recently joined the roster of SmackDown Live after the Superstar Shake-Up.
02:58And one thing you told me is that he was excited about those new opportunities, new matchups.
03:02Can you imagine the excitement Finn Balor would have if he were somehow able to walk out of here
03:07with the briefcase and the contract inside?
03:11I don't know if exciting is the proper term for any of these competitors tonight.
03:15You're putting someone as accomplished as Finn Balor in the ring with an athlete like Ricochet.
03:20With Baron Corbin, with Drew McIntyre, the Viper in.
03:24All looking for the same goal, to capture the Money in the Bank contract.
03:29You don't get excited about that.
03:30You get worried and you get ready.
03:46Making his way to the ring.
03:47Weighing in at 190 pounds, Ricochet!
03:52You know, as Ricochet enters his first ever Money in the Bank contract ladder match,
03:57he says, always expect the unexpected.
04:01Byron, Ricochet truly believes he's gonna win this match tonight.
04:05You have no choice, Michael.
04:07You have to believe.
04:08You have to bet on yourself in this unpredictable environment.
04:11And quite frankly, I don't know about you guys,
04:13but I cannot wait to see what Ricochet comes up with in this Money in the Bank ladder match.
04:17Ricochet's gotten this far by betting on himself.
04:20Arguably the most athletically gifted superstar in this particular matchup.
04:25Anything is possible anytime Ricochet steps inside the ring.
04:29But as Ricochet was making his entrance, Baron Corbin asked me to inform the WWE Universe just how good he
04:35really is.
04:36Thanks for being a bummer.
04:39Maybe he'll tell you next time, Saxton, or you don't have to say it, you'll get punched in the mouth.
04:54Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Zelina Vega, weighing in at 215 pounds.
05:01Andrade!
05:02Here is a guy that a lot of people could consider the dark horse for this matchup.
05:08Well, he's got momentum, Corey.
05:09This past week on SmackDown, he pinned Finn Balor in a fatal four-way match leading up to tonight.
05:15And Zelina Vega on the kickoff show earlier on, very spirited exchange about how her man was going to win
05:22this match tonight.
05:23Andrade arrived in WWE, he made a great deal of noise.
05:28This is a superstar that has all of the tools to fulfill his self-claimed prophecy of being the future
05:34of WWE.
05:35Tonight, a victory, the power that comes with being Mr. Money in the Bank,
05:39could propel Andrade to where he so desires to be.
05:44Or should I say, Senor Dinero in El Banco.
05:49From Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 182 pounds, Ali!
05:55I'm not sure if you guys got the opportunity yet to check out the latest WWE Chronicle on the WWE
06:01Network.
06:02An absolutely amazing story about Ali and his life.
06:07The story of redemption, it talks about his family, his past, and his future,
06:12which he hopes will culminate here tonight with the Money in the Bank contract in his hands.
06:17Ali's a guy I've gotten to know rather well over the past several years.
06:21Not just an incredible in-ring athlete, an incredible human being.
06:25I am very happy to see the success that Ali has had.
06:28And Ali has just as much chance of becoming Mr. Money in the Bank as anybody else.
06:33He even having a good chance of becoming Mr. Money in the Bank.
06:38And whereas Andrade might be the dark force, here comes a favorite.
06:46From Air Scotland, weighing in at 265 pounds, Drew McIntyre!
06:53One of the reasons last year's winner, Braun Strowman, is not in this match tonight is because
06:58Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin did the number on Strowman on Raw this past week,
07:04allowing Sami Zayn to win the Falls Count Anywhere match.
07:07Zayn was supposed to be in this match tonight.
07:09Somebody beat him up in the back, sent him to a hospital.
07:12Sami's not in this. Strowman's been kicked out of the building.
07:15Somebody? You mean Braun Strowman?
07:17Sami Zayn's been kicked out of the building for what he did to Sami Zayn.
07:20Oh, we didn't actually see it happen for you.
07:22You can't see the wind firing, but it's there.
07:25From St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 250 pounds,
07:29the Apex Predator, Randy Orton!
07:35Four times prior tonight, Randy Orton has walked in to the Money in the Bank ladder match.
07:41One of those times, he climbed the ladder.
07:44He grabbed the briefcase.
07:45He grabbed the contract and became Mr. Money in the Bank.
07:48Back in 2013, Orton hopes to repeat history tonight, six years later.
07:54I think what Orton brings to the table, other than just experience,
07:57is his eerie sense of harm.
07:59There isn't much in WWE that Randy Orton hasn't seen or accomplished.
08:04He's not gonna get caught up in the heat of the moment.
08:07He's less likely to make mistakes.
08:09Randy Orton may very well, once again, be Mr. Money in the Bank.
08:14I think part of that calm, Corey, comes from the fact that in this match,
08:19in this ladder match environment, Randy Orton can embrace his barbaric nature.
08:25He doesn't have to worry about restrictions.
08:27He doesn't have to worry about guidelines, rules, do whatever you want.
08:31Well, I can tell you what, every other superstar better worry about three letters, RKO.
08:37So the match is underway.
08:39There are seven superstars in this year's Money in the Bank ladder match.
08:43Of course, Sami Zayn sent to the hospital.
08:45Strowman kicked out of the building.
08:47So four members of SmackDown, three for Monday Night Raw,
08:50will battle to become Mr. Money in the Bank.
08:53It is every man for himself.
08:55The contract and the briefcase suspended above the ring holds the keys to a better future.
09:01And remember the rules, no pinfall, no submission.
09:04Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, get out, get out, get out.
09:06My God.
09:09The Viper wasting no time impactfully depositing Ali onto our announce table.
09:16Chaos at link side already and the bell just rung a few minutes ago.
09:21Here you see Finn and Ricochet working together for the moment, but I promise any alliance in
09:28this matchup will be temporary.
09:31Orton once again, whoa.
09:34No, not again, not again, not again.
09:35Look out, guys.
09:38Finn Balor.
09:39Randy Orton is just picking his spots here.
09:41First Ali and now Finn Balor.
09:42Are you surprised?
09:43Orton knows exactly what he's doing right now.
09:46Watch Ricochet.
09:47Sidestep by the Viper.
09:49No, the third time.
09:51Guess what?
09:54There is carnage at ringside, and this match has only barely just begun.
10:00I mean, it's sick, it's twisted, but it's a smart strategy from the Viper.
10:04It's genius, it's veteran, it's experienced.
10:07Orton now has more than enough time to set up that ladder.
10:10There's no one around, there's no one to stop Orton.
10:13Well, there are bodies strewn everywhere.
10:15Randy Orton now alone in the ring, and there's a ladder inside as well.
10:21Orton surveying the damage, reassuring that the coast is clear.
10:27Will it be Randy Orton's opportunity to become a two-time Mr. Money in the Bank?
10:34We're about to find out in a few moments.
10:36I think Orton's gonna do this.
10:38Orton's sturdying the ladder.
10:40Randy Orton climbing the ladder.
10:43Andrade, what a move by Andrade.
10:46I think Orton was able to avert disaster, able to break his own fall, but
10:50the elbow connects.
10:54Stunt Randy Orton who's lying prone now on the apron.
10:57Uh-oh, it's getting crowded inside that ring.
10:59It's like a Walking Dead with ladders all of a sudden.
11:02Everybody back in the ring, at least most of the competitors.
11:05Knack and tire with a ladder, Corbin with a ladder as well.
11:08And so much has been made over the past couple of weeks about this alliance between
11:12Corbin and McIntyre.
11:14How long will they work together tonight in this Money in the Bank ladder match?
11:17Before it breaks down every man for himself.
11:21They'll work together as long as absolutely necessary and possible, because it's smart.
11:26It benefits both superstars.
11:28But it is every man for himself.
11:31That alliance will implode eventually.
11:33And look at Ali sending Corbin face first.
11:36And a couple of the young guns in this match this year.
11:40Ali and Andrade looking to shine and Ali driving McIntyre back into the barricade.
11:46And it doesn't stop on the inside, Andrade now.
11:49Andrade looking for the hammerlock DDT.
11:50And that would have taken Ricochet out.
11:52Meanwhile, it's Andrade who's dumped over the top rope.
11:54Now Ricochet realizes his opportunity.
11:57This could be his moment.
11:58Tries to put the ladder into place.
12:00Will Ricochet realize a dream?
12:02Sense of urgency for Ricochet.
12:05And now Ricochet and Ali.
12:08Raw and SmackDown superstars face to face.
12:11Ali trying to scale the ladder.
12:13Ricochet rips him back down to the mat.
12:15Now it's Ricochet's turn.
12:16Back and forth, we go back elbow, caught Ali.
12:19If you ever wanted to see a standoff stalemate in the sky, these two are your guys that do it.
12:24Look at the move, Ali!
12:25Halfway up the ladder.
12:26Both these young guns looking for a career altering moment by grabbing ahold of the contract.
12:34Ricochet lands on his feet.
12:36Ali now sent over the top rope, landing on the apron.
12:39Here comes Ricochet.
12:40Ali, look at the quickness, now quickly up the ladder.
12:43Both men near the top of the ladder now.
12:45A high speed race to the top.
12:47And here's Corbin and McIntyre.
12:50A very destructive force on Monday Night Raw, continuing to raise hell here at Money in the Bank.
12:57The problem with these Money in the Bank matches, the closer you get to the contract,
13:00the higher you get up the ladder, the more you become a target.
13:03You've got, in this case, six other superstars with the same exact goal,
13:08looking to knock you off by any means necessary.
13:12That's how Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin clearing the way to inflict more damage.
13:16Ali launched into the ladder.
13:19Corbin, as we mentioned before, a former winner of the Money in the Bank contract.
13:24No! My God!
13:26Ricochet bouncing off the ladder.
13:30I'll say it again, look at this again, what's the impact of Ali?
13:34Corbin's got a chip on his shoulder, and so does McIntyre.
13:38Causing humans for distance.
13:41Corbin unsuccessfully tried to cash in.
13:44Randy Orton hanging McIntyre up on the top rope, and now Randy Orton sends
13:49Barry Corbin through the second rope.
13:51Uh-oh, uh-oh.
13:52Randy Orton, it's been the Randy Orton highlight reel so far tonight.
13:58Randy's sticking with what works.
13:59He's waiting on the outside.
14:01He's picking his spots.
14:02He's choosing his moments.
14:04He's the veteran.
14:05He's been in more of these matches than anybody else in this match here tonight.
14:09Randy Orton.
14:11Orton picking his spot to go to that place.
14:14Corbin beware.
14:14Went for the arcade.
14:15Claymore!
14:16Claymore kick from McIntyre.
14:21Finn Balor trying to climb back into this match.
14:27Big kick caught Corbin.
14:30And now Balor, the Intercontinental Champion.
14:34Sling blade to Corbin.
14:38Can you imagine the Intercontinental Champion running around with a contract in hand?
14:42I guarantee you Balor's thought a lot about it.
14:46Balor double-A takedown.
14:48Ladder uses it to his advantage.
14:53Corbin crushed.
14:56Now Balor as he glanced up at the briefcase with the contract inside.
15:04Balor's gonna change the plans.
15:06Right to the spine of McIntyre.
15:09Now Balor gonna place the ladder, gonna try to quickly climb if he can get it in place here.
15:14To try to win the contract.
15:16Finn Balor climbing up top.
15:17Could be Finn Balor's moment.
15:18What's Finn gonna do here?
15:19Got it.
15:20Andrade back in.
15:21Andrade's back in and he uses.
15:24The ladder like a spear to take down Balor.
15:29Balor driven off the top of the ladder.
15:31That shot caught right in the arm.
15:34It's not a matter of if you're gonna get hurt in this ladder match.
15:37It's a matter of how badly.
15:42Ricochet fighting back into the match.
15:45Great resilience by Ricochet dunked over and hit the apron hard.
15:49Ricochet's broken.
15:50That was nasty.
15:56And now it is Andrade who will try to secure his future.
16:02Andrade looking to climb the ladder up top.
16:04Meanwhile, met on the other side by Finn Balor.
16:07Balor and Andrade, two of the bright stars from SmackDown Live battling for the contract.
16:13The Money in the Bank contract which guarantees you a world title opportunity whenever you want it.
16:21Andrade reaching for the briefcase swinging around now high above the ring.
16:25Such a precarious position for both of these superstars.
16:29This could end very badly.
16:30Wait a second.
16:31The Sunset flips through the ladder.
16:33Are you kidding me?
16:38How the hell is Finn Balor alive?
16:48Look at this.
16:50Andrade risking it all to stop Balor and does he ever.
16:54A sunset flip powerbomb and I want you to watch the impact.
16:58And then watch how high Balor explodes through the air after crashing into the ladder.
17:04You gotta be kidding me.
17:06And to make matters worse after being launched Balor collided with the ladder again.
17:12Double impact.
17:14The Intercontinental Champion is a bad way.
17:18Let's look at this one more time.
17:22From great heights with bad intentions.
17:28Andrade driving the Intercontinental Champion down.
17:30And I'll be surprised if Finn's a factor for the rest of this match.
17:33I'd be surprised if Andrade's a factor.
17:36Ali!
17:36Now, there it is with a tornado DDT to Corbin.
17:40Could be Ali's opportunity.
17:41Ali caught Randy Orton.
17:43And now, kick right to McIntyre.
17:46Ricochet back into the fray.
17:48Ali doing his best to hold the ring.
17:50Good God, man.
17:51My God, Ricochet landed on the back of his neck.
17:53Man, Ali just hitting everything that moves.
17:57Inverted Frankensteiner from Ali.
17:59I mean, I know these guys are the top athletes in the entire world.
18:03But this is absolutely ridiculous.
18:05The snap that Ali applied, just spiking Ricochet in the center of the ring.
18:10Ali's got a little bit of real estate to work with at the moment.
18:13I mean, everybody's down.
18:15Except Ali, who's trying to position the ladder in a position that benefits himself.
18:21And Ali found that position.
18:23Now it's a matter of getting to the top of the ladder.
18:25He's been through hell here tonight as well, Byron.
18:28Slowly making his way up the ladder.
18:30And Andrade back to his feet and able to at least run interference momentarily.
18:34Andrade being on his feet is a miracle in itself.
18:38I don't know how anybody's on their feet, seriously.
18:43Ali hanging precariously on the rung of that ladder and Andrade.
18:51Ali's, I'm sorry, Andrade's still feeling the effects.
18:54But look at Ali.
18:55Ali is just hanging in the ladder there.
18:57He's caught, isn't moved.
19:01Ali's neutralized.
19:02I think Andrade realizes it.
19:05And Ali is visible to, my God.
19:10Kicks for good measure.
19:12Andrade can see every move that Ali makes or does not make.
19:15That's one less superstar Andrade's gotta worry about on his long journey to the top of the ladder.
19:22Ali, though, trying to pull himself up.
19:23Tremendous core strength by Ali.
19:25He's back on his feet on the ladder.
19:27So is Andrade.
19:28Both men climbing to the top of their respective ladders.
19:31Crucial moment here.
19:33High above the ring.
19:35The contract hanging in the balance.
19:37There is nothing close to resembling stability when you're that high up on a ladder that tall.
19:42Wait a second.
19:43Wait a second.
19:44What the hell?
19:45No way!
19:48What is wrong with these guys?
19:57Listen, it doesn't make logical sense, Michael, but you gotta think.
20:02If you're Ali, you don't know when you're gonna get this chance again.
20:04And you're right, Byron.
20:05For all these superstars.
20:06It's all logical.
20:06It is all logical.
20:08You have to destroy everybody else in the matchup and make the long climb to potentially change your career.
20:15Watch this.
20:16Watch the impact on both of these superstars.
20:20Absolutely incredible.
20:21When the stakes are this high, when the reward is this big, you are willing to do anything and everything
20:28in your power.
20:29Yeah, because getting a championship opportunity does not come around often, if at all, in your career.
20:35And if you win tonight, you get that opportunity.
20:37And almost a guarantee to win a world title.
20:39And now McIntyre, the Scottish psychopath.
20:42Just about put his hand through Ali's chest.
20:45You wanna fight me?
20:47I'm not sure that I'm a little uncomfortable.
20:50This ladder set up on our announce desk.
20:52Well, McIntyre has now set up a ladder as a bridge between our announce desk and the ring.
20:58Get some space to get out of here.
21:03And the Scottish psychopath in that place.
21:08Look at the power.
21:09Ali lands at his feet though.
21:10Ali kicked right to the face of McIntyre.
21:13McIntyre now prone on our table.
21:15Corbin now into the fray.
21:16Baron Corbin grabs Ali through the Spanish at Al's table with a massive chokeslam.
21:27Once again, this alliance between Corbin and McIntyre pays dividends.
21:33This place is a wreck.
21:37Bodies are everywhere.
21:43Corbin stabbing McIntyre in the back.
21:46We knew someone was gonna have to betray each other tonight.
21:49Come on, this is for money in the bank.
21:51This is for an opportunity and a championship.
21:54Corbin now stomping Balor's ascent.
21:57And now it's Baron Corbin after the right hand.
21:59Trying to do damage here tonight in this matchup.
22:02Baron Corbin who took that back in power.
22:04And now a chokeslam to Balor.
22:08The poor spine of Finn Balor.
22:11The unforgiving part of the ladder.
22:13And now Ricochet with a missile drop kick.
22:16One of the most chaotic money in the bank ladder matches in history.
22:20Ricochet got caught.
22:22Deep six on the outside.
22:24And that may have ended Ricochet's hopes.
22:31Back in time.
22:32Baron Baron Baron.
22:33Payback Claymore.
22:36It is truly every man for himself.
22:42Look at this, turn about his back play.
22:46And a Claymore right on the side of Corbin's jaw.
22:50Meanwhile, back in the ring it is Finn Balor dragging himself to his feet.
22:54Trying to somehow will and drag his wicked body.
22:58His beat up body up the ladder to the top to grab the contract.
23:02But the Scottish psychopath will not let it be.
23:06Every superstar in this matchup, their bodies are racked with pain right now.
23:11This is pure will.
23:14McIntyre has said all along that he is destined to be champion.
23:18That he is destined to win here tonight.
23:21If that's the case, McIntyre's destiny could be hanging above the ring right now.
23:27My God, again!
23:30And what cost?
23:32McIntyre just felt the impact of his own suplex.
23:35Yeah, but what about Finn Balor?
23:37Balor's gotta be done.
23:38Balor's gotta be absolutely done.
23:40Look at this raw strength from the Scottish Psychopath who's not done.
23:45My God, Andrade.
23:46Andrade is in trouble too.
23:46He's just trying to hang on, just trying to somehow survive.
23:49McIntyre has got Andrade in position for the slam.
23:53My God, not here, not under the ladder.
23:56Andrade.
24:02I'm gonna add Andrade to that list too.
24:04McIntyre has steam rolled through everyone.
24:08And now the Scottish Psychopath must clear the carnage to set up the ladder and
24:13make the climb.
24:17What an incredible money in the bank contract ladder.
24:21Look out!
24:21Now it's Ricochet back into it.
24:24And that's the problem when there are seven men in this match.
24:27You can never count them all out.
24:29Ricochet somehow must bring up the energy to take to the skies and take out
24:34McIntyre in the process.
24:36It's never an easy path, never as Ricochet crawls to realize his dream,
24:43his moment.
24:44McIntyre again playing defense.
24:48Not today.
24:51And Ricochet locks right on the ladder, and the ladder just crashed in half.
24:57The ladder split in half by Ricochet's body.
25:02Ricochet's body split this ladder in half.
25:10There are no words, no words for what we just saw.
25:16How the hell is anybody walking?
25:19How is anybody moving?
25:20There is one man moving, one man walking, and he is headed to the top of that ladder,
25:25and that man is Drew McIntyre.
25:27McIntyre going up top, trying to grab the contract.
25:29Meanwhile, the Viper back into play.
25:32Randy Orton, the batter.
25:32My God.
25:34My goodness.
25:34Out of nowhere.
25:35Off the ladder.
25:37All right.
25:38Corbin sent- And Corbin.
25:40Corbin's still- And Corbin.
25:41All alone.
25:42Corbin trying to win it for the second time in his career.
25:45He's gonna do it again.
25:46Corbin was posted.
25:47He's gonna do it again.
25:49Corbin, now it's Ali.
25:51Ali's back here somehow.
25:55Ali's using Corbin as a base to climb.
25:58Ali reaching up, trying to grab the contract.
26:00Could this be Ali's moment?
26:01Meanwhile, Corbin with Ali.
26:03This is not gonna end well for somebody.
26:06Corbin dumped over the top rope.
26:08Ali as well, but Ali's still in it.
26:11Ali wisely held on.
26:13And this could indeed be Ali's moment.
26:16My God, what a miracle this would be.
26:18What a miracle it would be if Ali can climb the ladder and grab the briefcase.
26:23Injuries and setbacks for this man.
26:25It would all be worth it if he could retrieve the briefcase and the contract inside.
26:29Ali has been through hell and he is fingertips away from heaven.
26:35Almost there.
26:36Ali's got the briefcase in hand.
26:42What the hell?
26:44Brock Lesnar.
26:45Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
26:47What the hell is Lesnar doing here?
26:49What is Lesnar doing here?
26:51No.
26:52The briefcase just dumped Ali.
26:54Brock Lesnar's here.
26:57What is going on?
27:00I don't know, but Lesnar's advocate Paul Haven is out here barking instructions to the beast.
27:07Lesnar's setting up the ladder.
27:10It can't be, can it?
27:12No, you mean it can't be, it is.
27:14Look at Brock Lesnar is in the center of the ring with a freaking ladder.
27:17Yeah, but Brock Lesnar isn't in this match.
27:19This isn't happening.
27:20This isn't happening, you can't do this.
27:22How the hell is Lesnar in the match?
27:24Lesnar to the top of the ladder.
27:28This is the damnedest thing I've ever seen.
27:32Brock Lesnar is on top of the ladder.
27:35Brock is the eighth man.
27:37Brock is the eighth man of the match.
27:39Brock Lesnar has won money in the bank.
27:44The winner, Brock Lesnar.
27:49Every single person in this arena is in shock.
27:54Well, count me in that club.
27:56I cannot believe what we just witnessed.
27:59I'm looking around this arena and people, they're dumbfounded.
28:03People are like, what is going on?
28:05Is this true?
28:06Is Brock Lesnar the Money in the Bank contract winner?
