00:04And we kick off the action here tonight with
00:07the Women's Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match.
00:12The following is the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
00:19Introducing first, from Orlando, Florida, Naomi.
00:24Naomi, the first competitor into the ring to end the Money in the Bank kickoff show tonight.
00:32Renee, you could say, float like a butterfly, sting like a bee for Naomi.
00:35Yeah, Naomi's good to nod to Team Texas Bumblebee.
00:38She unleashes the election.
00:39Next, from Staten Island, Carmella.
00:43And in comes Carmella, who won the first two Women's Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match.
00:49She's the first woman ever to successfully cash in the Money in the Bank Contract.
00:54She told me she's looking for that three-peat, Tom.
00:57Carmella would tell you she's a more well-rounded competitor than she was the last time
01:01she competed in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
01:04She'll be the first person in history to ever win three individual Money in the Bank Ladder Matches,
01:10but she's got some incredible competition to go through here tonight.
01:13Ho, ho, ho, ho.
01:21From plans go Scotland, Nikki Cross.
01:25Renee, what is the old adage, what a difference a week makes?
01:29Alexa Bliss was not medically cleared to compete tonight.
01:32Insert Nikki Cross into her step.
01:35Talk about this wild card concept of adding Nikki Cross into this matchup tonight.
01:39She is so excited, she can be able to contain it to bring home the Money in the Bank Contract
01:45tonight.
01:45Look at this woman.
01:46Here's the thing, if you're any one of the competitors in this match and you had a game plan,
01:50throw the playbook out the window and basically set it on fire because Nikki Cross is absolutely unpredictable.
01:55She also just went under the ladder, could be a bit of bad luck.
01:58I don't think Nikki cares about that.
01:59Agreed.
02:03Accompanied by Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose.
02:08Byron, let's remember from SmackDown Live, it was Shane McMahon on behalf of the McMahon family,
02:13gave the opportunity to both Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville decide between the two of you,
02:18who will compete in the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
02:21Sonya Deville extraordinarily selfless, stepped aside, gave the opportunity to Mandy.
02:25I was very shocked, what a humble measure, what a humble action by Sonya Deville to say,
02:29listen Mandy, you deserve this opportunity to go in there and become Miss Money in the Bank.
02:34Come on, Mandy's getting big for the boots though.
02:37Don't you think her ego could be a bit of an issue at this point?
02:39I thought it would be.
02:40You know, it's nice to have someone else who actually agrees with me,
02:43instead of Corey coming out here drooling over Mandy every week.
02:45Sonya Deville did say on the kickoff show,
02:47quote, it takes a strong woman to know when to step up and when to step back.
02:52Tonight, Mandy Rose will she be able to climb up and grab the opportunity of a lifetime.
03:08From Dallas, Texas, Amber Moon.
03:15Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown represented in the Women's Money in the Bank
03:22contract ladder match.
03:23The winner of this matchup earns a contract over a year long period for an opportunity
03:28at the Women's Championship on their brand.
03:32This is an opportunity that can change your career.
03:35Tom Phelps and Byron Saxon representing SmackDown, Renee Young from Raw.
03:39Byron, this is a chance for these women to really change the landscape on either Raw or SmackDown.
03:44Look, this is the equivalent of your Powerball, that million dollar ticket.
03:47You win that briefcase, you get the contract, your life will change, your career will change.
03:51From Cleveland, Ohio, Dana Brooke.
03:56Renee, if you say the word opportunity three times fast, now comes Dana Brooke.
04:00Good. You know what? I feel like this is Dana Brooke's year.
04:03She's feeling the same thing.
04:05Joining us out here at ringside, our Spanish announced team of Carlos Cabrera and Marcelo Rodriguez.
04:09Thank you. Great opportunity for the super-estrellas of both sexes and both marcas.
04:13If you get the contract, you can change your career in a second.
04:26From Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Natalia!
04:33And also joining us out here at ringside tonight for Money in the Bank, our German team of Calvin Knie,
04:38Carsten Schaefer and Tim Haber.
04:40One question, are you free?
04:42Who is a title match in Hartford?
04:45In Hartford, the bank is also on Sunday.
04:49Renee, no woman in history has competed in more Women's Money in the Bank contract ladder matches than Natalia.
04:55You know, Natalia said it takes years of dedication, persistence, falling, and building yourself back up to get to the
05:01top, keep on reaching.
05:02That's the dedication of Natty Neidhart.
05:06Oh, trying to contain my excitement here, but I can't.
05:10And from San Jose, California, Bayley!
05:15Byron, I know you're excited because Bayley's a part of SmackDown after the Superstar Shake-Up.
05:20But she is one of four women in this match who have no experience in a Women's Money in the
05:25Bank ladder match.
05:26Look, it's nerve-wracking, it's exciting.
05:29The Bayley buddies are here, but think about this for Bayley.
05:32As long as Bayley's been around, as many opportunities she has fought for,
05:36how hungry do you think she is heading into this ladder match?
05:40All Bayley had to say today was today seems like a good night to win it all.
05:44She's got that mindset.
05:45She knows this is her opportunity to break away from the pack and rise to the top.
05:50So it's Bayley, Ember Moon, Carmella, and Mandy Rose representing SmackDown.
05:54On the Raw side, it's Natalia, Dana Brooke, Naomi, and Nikki Cross.
05:58You can see the briefcase hung high above the ring here at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
06:03The object of this match, no count-outs, no disqualifications, no pinfalls, no submissions.
06:08You have to grab a ladder, climb up, and retrieve the briefcase in order to win the Money in the
06:14Bank contract.
06:16And that's just the beginning of it.
06:17Now you gotta figure out at some point during the next year, when are you gonna cash that contract in?
06:22Well, well, well, Byron, there's a long way to go before those kinds of decisions can be made.
06:27Any time, any place it can happen.
06:28Listen, I'm a forward thinker.
06:29Don't count your eggs, Saxton.
06:33Here we go.
06:34And right off the bat, Natalya goes after Mandy Rose,
06:37Bayley tied up with Naomi and Dana Brooke against Carmella.
06:40And wisely, outside the ring, it's Ember Moon setting up a ladder.
06:43Look at Nikki Cross.
06:45Nikki Cross has got Carmella all tied up.
06:47And now Dana Brooke tied up in the apron.
06:50Taking numbers.
06:51Myron, how would you prepare for Nikki Cross?
06:52You can't.
06:53I mean, she's thrown in days before this match was made.
06:55Nikki Cross is chaos and disarray on display.
06:58We just see an example of that.
06:59And now she's got the ladder.
07:01What an advantage for Nikki Cross.
07:02She can just run in here like the little Tasmanian devil she's been done with.
07:05No, no, no, no, no.
07:07Nikki took out four super signs at once.
07:10And the reality of the situation is-
07:13Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
07:14Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
07:14Talia, Talia.
07:16Mandy, Bayley.
07:17And Bayley just trying to wrangle it.
07:19No.
07:20That didn't work.
07:21Nikki Cross like a tornado with a ladder.
07:24Nikki said if she doesn't walk away with that briefcase tonight,
07:27she's not walking out of here at all.
07:28Whoa, whoa.
07:30Wise strategy.
07:31Watch Dana Brooke.
07:32And Dana Brooke shuts down Nikki Cross.
07:35Very wise by Brooke to bide her time.
07:37Now we got a bit of a tug of war here between herself and Ember.
07:39I don't know if I wanna get into that with Ember Moon.
07:45And the war goddess pinning Dana Brooke to the middle turnbuckle.
07:49Wait a minute, wait a minute.
07:50Nikki Cross again now with a sleeper.
07:53I mean, this is what we talked about.
07:54Trying to prepare for what Nikki Cross brings to the equation here.
07:57Hold on.
07:58No, into the ladder.
08:01It's all legal in the Money in the Bank contract ladder match.
08:04And Mandy Rose wisely throwing Ember Moon out of the ring.
08:10You almost have to come into this match expecting to get hurt.
08:12It's just how bad, how bad could the injuries be?
08:15Very creative move, but first there by Rose, but it's Carmella who knows this match so well.
08:20Here comes Carmella looking to bring Frankie home to Mama.
08:23Well, that's what she used to call the Money in the Bank briefcase.
08:26She still calls it that, Tom.
08:27Listen, Carmella's got company here, Natalya.
08:30Natalya positioned her ladder.
08:32Uh-oh.
08:34Carmella just adding a little push and making things tougher for Natalya.
08:40My goodness.
08:42Classic club from Natty.
08:44Natalya now looking, uh-oh, this is not gonna be good for Carmella.
08:48Face first into the ladder.
08:50Natalya said her consistency is what makes her a threat.
08:55Wait a minute, Naomi.
08:56Naomi, Naomi over to catch herself.
08:59Dodge that one.
09:01Nice recovery by Naomi.
09:03I picked Naomi to win the whole thing.
09:05I'd say that's a solid pick.
09:07Arguably the best athlete in all of WWE today and now trying to pull the ladder away from Mandy Rose.
09:13This is the third ladder inside the ring right now.
09:15What about the history between these two ladies?
09:18Yeah, Mandy Rose tried to destroy the marriage of Naomi at one point on SmackDown.
09:22I'm sure Naomi's not over that one.
09:24We can see a little bit more of that here tonight.
09:26And Bayley, a ladder right to the midsection of Mandy Rose.
09:30And now looking up at the briefcase.
09:32Great opportunity here, Byron, for Bayley.
09:34The opportunity thwarted immediately.
09:36Here comes Ember Moon.
09:38That is such a tough thing about this kind of athlete.
09:41You have to quickly look at Dana Brooke.
09:43I like this side of Dana.
09:45This could be her night.
09:46Spoke too soon.
09:47It is yanked down by Carmella, who-
09:50That ladder right into the leg.
09:52Big kick by Carmella.
09:54Carmella has bought herself some valuable time.
09:57These women are fierce tonight.
09:59Such a dangerous match.
10:00Carmella could be money again here.
10:02And Mandy Rose takes it away and-
10:06Took the right knee a little bit of Carmella.
10:12They're trying to fend her off.
10:14Mandy continuing to try to be the aggressor here.
10:18Just got knocked silly by Ember Moon.
10:21Ember's thinking big plans here.
10:23Time to make a move.
10:24Ember Moon and Dana both making plays for the ladder as well as Nikki Cross and
10:27Bayley all in the center of the ring.
10:32Such a physically threatening environment this match is.
10:37Whoa, wait a minute.
10:38Naomi, okay.
10:39Yes.
10:40Okay, Naomi.
10:41Naomi with a kick to Mandy Rose.
10:44Unorthodox approach from Naomi.
10:46Uh-oh, bad spot.
10:50I love it.
10:52Somehow Naomi got out of that one.
10:55Naomi.
10:56Naomi, depending on her survival instincts here.
10:58So far, they're working well.
10:59And again, the medical team is checking on Carmella here at ringside.
11:03Oh, she hurt.
11:04Her right knee badly is walking gingerly on outside the ring.
11:10And Natalya just guided into the ladder by Bayley.
11:13That's what we talked about a few moments ago.
11:15Injuries will happen in this match.
11:16Quickly at that.
11:18It's a matter of how bad it will be.
11:19It depends on what you can endure as well, what you're willing to go through.
11:22Put your body through to get to that top.
11:24Let's see how calmly it's trying to see what's going on with Carmella.
11:30Carmella walking back with the medical staff.
11:33Presumably the locker room area.
11:35Now it's Bayley again trying to seize control here in the match.
11:38It's gotta be a heartbreaking moment for Carmella.
11:42And now taking a book from behind here on Bayley.
11:46Anytime Dana Brooke trying to take advantage as you have no choice to do.
11:49I think Dana Brooke's got a certain kind of energy to her right now.
11:53And now Ember Moon.
11:55I think that energy just dissipated Renee.
11:56Certainly.
11:59Dana Brooke showing off some of her power and setting up Ember Moon along the ladder.
12:05Get up!
12:08Ember can't escape.
12:09My goodness.
12:11Dana feeling the love from the WWE Universe.
12:14And the handspring back elbow right to the midsection.
12:18And now Dana's got the ring to herself.
12:20Now Bayley opposite side.
12:21Dana was very passionate about having to come out here and step outside of her comfort zone
12:25to risk it all if she wants the briefcase.
12:28Good, you've got people doubting her her entire career.
12:31This is her time to shine.
12:32Prove all the doubters wrong.
12:35Now Bayley, knee right to the face.
12:39Bayley's been in some of the most brutal matches the women's division has seen.
12:44Trying to adapt to the environment sends Dana Brooke into the ladder.
12:49Add this to the list.
12:54And now it's Bayley who finds herself with a great opportunity.
12:57It's right above her, time to make a move Bayley, this is it.
13:01Dana Brooke is down as is most of the field outside the ring.
13:05Bayley's gotta hurry.
13:06Bayley has got to hurry.
13:07Look at the size of this ladder.
13:08It's more than twice the size of Bayley.
13:10Bayley, this could be Bayley's chance.
13:12Set up that ladder and start climbing.
13:15Bayley's gotta move quickly.
13:16And it's Mandy Rose slowing down Bayley.
13:21Now Natalya.
13:23No.
13:28Bayley just sandwiched him.
13:30No, no, no, no, no, no.
13:31Man, jeez.
13:35Bayley and Natalya.
13:36Odd alliances happen in these Money in the Bank ladder matches.
13:40Think about the emotional rollercoaster.
13:42Bayley a second ago thought she was gonna be able to climb the ladder.
13:45Wait a minute, wait a minute.
13:46A split-legged moonsault.
13:48Bayley into the ladder.
13:50I'd be smart to start focusing on the women that are setting up to cash in on
13:53that Money in the Bank.
13:55And now it's Naomi trying to scramble over to that situation right now.
13:59Again, you got to do enough damage to your opponents.
14:03Under the ladder and a huge spear to Natalya.
14:06Naomi's got a clear path.
14:07This is it.
14:08Naomi Taylor.
14:09It's gonna be a close-in.
14:10And now Ember Moon.
14:14Nikki Cross.
14:15Double knees from Ember, but now it's Nikki Cross trying to climb.
14:19Quick thinking by Ember Moon.
14:21Trying to fend off Nikki Cross.
14:22Gotta have those quick reactions.
14:25Nikki Cross.
14:26Head on.
14:28Spinning neckbreaker from the top.
14:30Roping out to Dana Brooke trying to take advantage.
14:33Dana Brooke surveying the area.
14:35No.
14:37Decided to lay out her victim.
14:39Well, she's got an opening now.
14:41Time to make a move, Dana.
14:42This could be it.
14:43No one else is in the ring with you.
14:45I think Dana's gotta get over the shock now and realize that nobody else is around.
14:51This-
14:51And now Dana-
14:52Dana has cleared the ring.
14:53Nobody else is around.
14:54Now Dana Brooke popping up the ladder.
14:57Dana Brooke has got no one in sight.
14:59Make a move, Brooke.
15:01Dana's starting to climb.
15:03Is it Dana's Knight Mandy Rose?
15:05Uh-oh.
15:05On the side of the ladder.
15:07Dana Brooke has got her head on the clip.
15:09Can she unclip it?
15:10She hooked the briefcase.
15:11Can she unhook it?
15:12My gosh.
15:14Dana Brooke suspended in the air.
15:18Mandy Rose is trying to pull Dana Brooke back closer.
15:22Dana's got one hand trying to bend off Mandy Rose.
15:27That's the only thing in the way in that contract.
15:29Mandy, Mandy and Dana, Mandy and Dana both reaching out.
15:32Dana Brooke's entire future was just at her fingertips.
15:36Face first into the steel and now Dana's reaching out.
15:38Bailey's pulling Rose off the ladder.
15:41Look at Dana.
15:42Look at Dana.
15:42Reach Dana.
15:43This is it.
15:45We got Naomi and Bayley now.
15:47And Naomi right on the heels of Dana Brooke.
15:49And now Nikki Cross.
15:50And now Nikki Cross scrambling.
15:52Nikki on the top.
15:53Nikki on the top.
15:54Can Nikki win?
15:56Can Nikki win?
16:00No, no, no, no, no.
16:02Man.
16:04Bold move from Natalya.
16:09Natalya.
16:10Natalya.
16:10Man, shoulder first into the post.
16:13Wait a minute.
16:14Eclipse.
16:15Eclipse from the ladder outside the ring.
16:19Unreal.
16:20Ember Moon's been deemed a future champion.
16:22This could be the year of Ember Moon.
16:38Look at this one more time.
16:40The Eclipse takes out Natalya.
16:44The field is clear.
16:46Ember Moon is all alone.
16:49Not for long, Saxton.
16:50And Mandy Rose, she's done so many times in this matchup.
16:54Trying to prevent anyone from making an ascent.
16:58No, no, no.
16:59Wait a minute.
17:00It's got the ladder.
17:00It's got the ladder set up.
17:02No, no, no.
17:04Midsection first into the ladder.
17:10Mandy Rose completely dismantling Ember Moon, who could have cracked ribs after that one.
17:15And Mandy Rose has thrown one ladder outside the ring.
17:18That only leaves one back inside.
17:20Again, less opportunities for the other competitors.
17:23Well, lots of opportunities for Mandy Rose is the only competitor in the ring right now.
17:27This could be for a moment.
17:28Seize that opening.
17:30A smirk of satisfaction a moment ago on Mandy Rose's face, but Mandy better speed up here.
17:34So we need to go out here.
17:36Wait.
17:38Carmella is coming back down the entranceway.
17:41Carmella is saying, I'm not done yet.
17:44She tweaked her knee.
17:45And an altercation with Mandy Rose earlier in the match.
17:49And Carmella is coming back into this matchup.
17:52Damn, Carmella's not playing.
17:54And he's forced into the steel of the ladder into the corner of the barricade.
17:59This is how bad Carmella wants to be Miss Money in the Bank one more time.
18:04She said this is her pay-per-view, this is her night.
18:09On one leg, no less.
18:11Carmella being Money again.
18:14Carmella climbs back inside.
18:16No one is inside the ring as well.
18:19Carmella could do it.
18:21A one-legged Carmella on the verge of a three-peat.
18:25Carmella could be a three-time Miss Money in the Bank.
18:28Could Carmella secure another Money in the Bank contract?
18:32Could she do it all by herself this time around?
18:36Nobody else is around.
18:37Carmella.
18:38Wait.
18:39Who is Sonya Deville?
18:41Sonya's not in this match.
18:42Well, it's not its qualifications.
18:43Get out of the ring.
18:43No.
18:47Wait a minute.
18:48Deville with a spare.
18:54Wait a minute, what is Sonya doing?
18:57Setting up a ladder for-
19:00Setting up a ladder for-
19:01Hold on, this is garbage.
19:04I mean, guys, it's entirely legal.
19:06There's no disqualifications in this match.
19:09You're right, Tom, but it's still not right.
19:13Sonya Deville, this is how selfish she's been as a friend to Mandy Rose.
19:16How many opportunities that she's given to Mandy?
19:19How many things she's pulled Mandy away from in terms of danger?
19:22Is Sonya essentially gonna hand this contract over?
19:26No way.
19:31Mandy Rose is absolutely lifeless, and Sonya Deville is climbing the ladder.
19:35Look at this.
19:36Sonya Deville has got Mandy Rose on her shoulder.
19:40Come on, this is amazing.
19:41Who can do that?
19:42What a feat of strength.
19:45More than a feat of strength?
19:46This isn't right.
19:48Sonya-
19:49Looks actually the friendship's there.
19:50This is the move.
19:57Mandy Rose reaching out.
20:01Sonya Deville trying to help Mandy, and now it's Bayley.
20:05Uh-oh.
20:06Oh-oh.
20:08Down.
20:11Bayley's there.
20:12Bayley's all alone.
20:16Bayley.
20:17Yes.
20:18Bayley has missed.
20:20Money in the bank.
20:22Here is your winner, Bayley.
20:27Bayley.
20:28I can't think of a superstar who deserves it more.
20:33Congratulations, Bayley.
20:36Former Raw Women's Champion.
20:39One half for the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions.
20:43Could you be looking at the next Raw Women's Champion or SmackDown Women's Champion?
20:57by Sports Coheniber.
20:58See you next week.
20:58www.arringshidan.
20:59No.
