00:14And last night, the execution team attempted to establish an IV line for an hour. I counted at
00:21least seven needles used in her left arm alone, one of which appeared to be bent when it was pulled
00:28from her arm after an unsuccessful attempt. I think this is important, that the hour it took
00:34to establish the, well, to appear to establish the two lines, it took an hour despite the fact
00:43that Ms. Pike was not just cooperative but was trying to help instruct the people placing the
00:49IV lines of where she could, they could find them. She over and over again said,
00:57please try up on my shoulder higher. Please try here. Please try here. I think it will be okay.
01:03And she thanked them when they were, when they were able to, at least when they thought they
01:08had established the line. Ms. Pike was kind and she was, she was cooperative and she was at peace
01:16the whole time. As Steve said, she did not want a stay. She was at peace and she was ready.
