00:25to do. It's the latest edition of Can Check coming to you from a place in western Maine
00:30known as Fluvial Brewing. They've been open since 2019. I don't know if they've had the
00:37yurt that whole time, but I remember during the pandemic, I don't even know if that building
00:41in the background was open. I remember that you could come down their driveway here in
00:46Bridgeton, Maine, and you could give them money and they would give you a growler of their
00:50beer. They put it on the table, you put the money on the table. You remember how it was
00:53back in 2020. I'm sorry if it's bringing back bad memories for you, but that's just
00:56kind of how it was back then. Anyway, I'm here with my dad and my brother, and we're
01:01going to try some of their beers. Oh, check out the sun effect, Nate. Very cool. Your
01:05glasses look cool, too. Yeah, and you're rocking the... Tell everybody about the hat you're
01:11wearing. Oh, Diamondbacks. I like the logo. I'm a Sox fan at heart. Yes, but you're a fan
01:17of fashion. So yeah, I like kind of playing around with the light there. That's why I'm not
01:21using my stand or whatever here. But anyway, we're at Fluvial in Harrison, Maine. I was
01:25just giving the intro. They've been open since 2019. Nate, do you remember I was telling the
01:30story about how we would get the growlers of beer during the pandemic? Yeah, that's
01:33right. You could pull up, put cash in the barrel head, come over the... Sorry, I just
01:39said the word. People are going to think I'm hammered making this. Yes, the growler. I'm
01:42not, by the way, yet. But you actually have... Lift up your glass, if you don't mind, with
01:48your free hand there. What did you get this time? I got the River Haze, it's called.
01:53It's a New England IPA. Yes. Really good. And it's one of the ones we used to get in
01:58the growlers back in the day, if I'm not mistaken. Yes, that is right. And the service
02:01is great as well. They're down here checking on us. I got to get Dad over here and see what
02:05he's drinking. So stand by. All right. Dad, how are you? I'm fine. Thank you, Adam.
02:10What are you drinking? I am drinking the Maple Ridge Pale Ale up here in Western Maine.
02:16Yes. Outside. Yes. Beautiful. Yes. The weather's fantastic. It's the fall, so like all the
02:22nasty bugs are gone, like the black flies and the deer flies and all that kind of stuff.
02:27So it's really, it's a picture-perfect day. And it really is like fluvial great beer.
02:32And as we're talking about, you've got the Maple Ridge Pale Ale. I'm drinking the Session,
02:36which I can't show you because I don't have a free hand right now. But they've got a nice
02:39little Session Ale that's like, oh, that looks so nice with the sunlight. Look at that.
02:45Just as good as it looks. Yes. The beer here is great. But again, the vibe, the outdoor vibe,
02:50you can kind of see over our shoulder here. There's all sorts of seating areas and such.
02:54The aforementioned yurt that I started this video from. But we can't recommend fluvial highly
03:01enough. Come when you're in Western Maine, when you're in Bridgeton, Harrison area,
03:06come pay them a visit. I think I accidentally said that we were in Bridgeton earlier when I meant to
03:11say that we're in Harrison. So I'm going to have to, I'm not going to go back and fix it.
