The clip unfolds over Chalkidiki, where the fire's ominous presence creates a stark contrast against the serene landscape.
“On August 13, 2026, around 2:00 p.m., a large fire broke out between Kassandra and Siviri in Chalkidiki, Greece. I filmed the area with my drone around 4:00 p.m.” Elson, the filmer, told WooGlobe.
The striking moment captures the unsettling sight of pitch-black smoke billowing into the sky. It offers an aerial perspective, revealing the sheer scale of the disaster as smoke rushes across the area.
This is not just a story of flames; it is a reminder of nature's unpredictable power and the urgency of safety in the face of such calamities.
