00:58Gato?
01:01Je suis un fan de ça. Je suis un fan de ça.
01:03Listen, you guys in chaos, Yujiro betrayed you guys a few years ago, cost Okada the IWGP Heavyweight title.
01:12Would you take Yujiro back if he gets kicked out of Bullet Club?
01:15Hell no.
01:21Ah, our holy emperor, Zack Sabre Jr. said the other night, after his cliché-ridden coach speak, he thanked his
01:32lord and savior, Lord Taichi, for the win over Yano.
01:37Oh, my God.
01:46Twitter in an uproar, Kevin, after I outed Taichi about his mic not being plugged in.
01:53I told you.
01:57Taichi fans are a boy.
01:58A lot of folks talking about it.
02:00Oh, I know.
02:01What?
02:02They're, they, you've run afoul.
02:06Oh, I got to, I had to do what I had to do, Kevin.
02:26Tiktokers sont très heureux.
02:42So Taichi will face Will Osprey once again.
02:46They have battled a couple of different times, three different times, matter of fact.
02:56Taichi with a pair of wins over Osprey when they were junior heavyweights.
03:06But Osprey won the last meeting in the number one contendership for the Never Overweight title.
03:12That secured Osprey's match against Kota Ibushi for Wrestle Kingdom that Osprey won.
03:20Currently Rev Pro's British Heavyweight Champion, eight points, been a great tournament so far for Will who got beaten from
03:29stem to stern the other night from Minoru Suzuki but pulled out the victory.
03:41Yeah Osprey's been a little annoyingly cocky lately.
03:46Yeah a little brash.
03:50A little match for me.
03:53I know.
03:54Let's go.
03:56I have a feeling if you were there you might probably talk to him about it.
04:02Maybe.
04:04The man who has a shot of 8.8, 185cm and 105kg.
04:08British Heavyweight Champion Will Osprey!
04:16If Taichi wins this match
04:18Both Osprey and Taichi
04:20Will be 8 and 8
04:22In their
04:23Perspective G1 careers
04:27Currently
04:28Osprey just a tick above
04:30500 Taichi looking
04:32To get there but most important for both
04:34Men will be
04:35Victory here as
04:38Taichi looks to
04:39Jump to 8
04:41Osprey looks to join
04:43Switchblade Jay White
04:45At 10 and again
04:46Osprey holds the tiebreaker
04:49Over Jay White
05:03Kota Ibushi holds
05:07Tiebreakers over
05:08Osprey and Okada
05:20He's on his toes and Taichi's taking his time
05:20Jay White at 10 holds
05:23He's in a really good tiebreaker position
05:25Ibushi, Okada
05:27Shingo and Taichi
05:29The only one that
05:30He dropped out of the group
05:33That's really in the
05:36Lead or in the lead-ers
05:38Is Osprey who's on his toes
05:41And Taichi's taking his time
05:44Taichi not amused
05:46At all
05:47By Osprey at this moment
05:51Come on Taichi
05:53Come on
05:54Let's go Taichi
05:56What's Taichi's opinion
05:58Of foreigners overall
06:04As best as you can tell
06:06From across the whole locker room
06:09Yeah I don't think
06:10I think
06:12Taichi's
06:13Just Taichi
06:14In the fact that
06:16Like
06:17I think he's just
06:18Worried about himself
06:20And maybe Zach
06:23Doesn't care about anybody else
06:25Whether they're Japanese
06:26Not in Japanese
06:28Not true
06:29He just cares about
06:30Miho
06:31And Zach
06:32Cares about money
06:35Money, Miho, and Zach
06:37Money, Miho, and Zach
06:38In that order
06:39Maybe Zach above Miho
06:41Maybe
06:43It's
06:44You know and again
06:44It's like team sneer
06:46Out of Dangerous Techers
06:47They just seem to be
06:48Just
06:48Two miserable sots
06:50Who are drawn together
06:51And they are
06:52They're an effective tag team
06:53They're the
06:53IWGB heavyweight tag team champions
06:55It's a great way to put it
06:56They are miserable
07:00So while
07:01Osprey has the wrist lock
07:02On Taichi
07:03Taichi's
07:04Very quickly
07:05Gone over and grabbed the rope
07:06Marty Asami
07:07Fine that's okay man
07:09That's alright
07:09That's alright
07:11It's alright
07:13Now Taichi comes forward
07:15And
07:15Perhaps has had enough
07:16Of Osprey
07:22Taichi sends him
07:23Into the ropes
07:23Osprey ducks the clothesline
07:25Taichi looks like he was setting
07:27For a hip toss
07:28And Osprey catches him
07:31And now Osprey
07:33Will send a
07:34Very strong message
07:38Towards his lordship
07:44Uh oh
07:44Wait a minute
07:46What's he got Rocky
07:46What's he done
07:47Taichi's got something
07:50Oh
07:51That hammer Kevin
07:53Oh from the timekeeper's table
07:55I'm pretty sure
07:56Where's that
07:56That hammer
07:58That they ring the bell with
08:00That mallet
08:01There it is
08:02Yep
08:03He's not doing a very good job
08:04Of hiding it
08:08And now using the stem of it
08:10It looks
08:10Yeah
08:11He's got it
08:11In the throat
08:16And now
08:17Shoving the referee down
08:21And Osprey gets blasted
08:27Don't mess with Taichi
08:28Don't mess around
08:33Now Taichi talking trash
08:38As he strangles Osprey
08:40With that hammer
08:45Interesting ways of using that hammer
08:47Is Taichi
08:48It's quite interesting
08:50The technique that he uses there
08:52And now he's got the camera cable
08:54Wrapped around the windpipe
09:02It's pretty advanced sneaky style Kevin
09:05Cause the camera cable isn't until volume 2
09:07And I haven't even written that yet
09:09Wow
09:09I think he's got uh
09:11He must have snuck a look at the manuscript
09:14He could add a couple of chapters
09:16He's very well versed
09:22But that was
09:23That's one of the things that
09:25You know
09:26It's this style that Taichi
09:28Primarily used
09:30And fans were like
09:31Ugh
09:33But he's adopted
09:35A much more offensive style
09:37Over the last couple of years
09:38First just against Ishii
09:40Now against everybody else
09:41And it has paid off
09:44With great success
09:46In the heavyweight division
09:48100%
09:51Cause you would
09:52If you would arrive at the building
09:53And if you would see
09:54Oh I gotta wrestle Taichi
09:56And somebody in a tag match
09:57Taichi and
09:59Kanemaru for example
10:00You'd be like
10:01Ugh
10:01Right?
10:02Yeah I'm gonna get choked
10:05Somebody's gonna try to
10:06Throw me against railings
10:08I'm just like
10:09Ugh
10:09Just wanna have
10:10A good old
10:12One on one
10:14Technical
10:16Matchup
10:19Just grabbing
10:22Trying it down to the eyes
10:25Yeah
10:26Grabbing the trachea
10:27Then the eyes
10:40You see the
10:41Grab underneath the elbow pad
10:44From Osprey
10:45That courtesy of Minoru Suzuki
10:47Again Taichi beats Suzuki
10:48Early in the tournament
10:54And now Osprey off the ropes
10:56Watch the blast of a kick
10:57And he catches Taichi in the side of the head
11:13The longer the match goes the worse historically it has been for Osprey
11:18His 20 minute 22 second average in defeat
11:22Is still the longest in G1 Climax history
11:25Albeit in a 15 match sample
11:28Inverted atomic drop
11:29And two hands into the chest
11:32Here he comes looking for the shooting star press
11:34And Taichi rolls away
11:37Sliding drop kick
11:38Sliding drop kick
11:38Nudges Taichi out to the floor
11:39But that kick in the back
11:40Taichi felt it
11:42Here comes Osprey
11:43Look at that rock
11:44Oh
11:46Gets the Sasuke special
11:55Again everything that Taichi had done to Osprey
11:58We're mauling
12:00Attacking the throat
12:10And Osprey will look to roll Taichi
12:19And does
12:20Taichi hooked one of Will's legs
12:24Risking what could be a double count out
12:26Again double count out
12:27No points
12:31Springboard
12:31Pip-pip cheerio
12:33Yes sir
12:35Osprey cover
12:36Two
12:39And a kick out
12:43Not much on the cover
12:44Not much on the kick out
13:04Trying to use the power
13:05And Osprey just seems to be messing around with Taichi here tonight Rocky
13:11Yeah he doesn't seem to be very focused or taking it too serious
13:15I feel like he's taking Taichi a little light here
13:21That blast of a chop certainly put Taichi down
13:35And now Osprey goes to the top
13:37He's got to be careful here if he
13:41Wait a second
13:45Catches him the third time shooting start press springboard
13:48How about that
13:49Wow
13:51And he's got him
13:53Yeah oh I thought that was it
13:56Again Osprey in the blink of an eye finds that next gear
14:02And the offensive arsenal for Osprey deep and wide
14:13Osprey certainly brimming with confidence I guess would be one way to say it this year during the G1
14:21Going for Stormbreaker
14:24Yeah ever since he added that muscle Kevin
14:27And that weight
14:30I feel like he's
14:31Just come back with a
14:34Bit of arrogance
14:37Oh
14:38Sobut lands
14:40Tiger
14:41Oh
14:42Before Osprey could get that enziguri
14:46Taichi hits that
14:47Gamagiri straight to the face
14:49And we don't know if he did but if Osprey
14:58Did talk or rather if Taichi did talk to Zack Sabre Jr.
15:04About this matchup with Osprey
15:06Zack has quite a book on Osprey
15:08Them having met so many times
15:12I would say definitely he went to Zack Sabre Jr.
15:16And asked him
15:16The intel
15:19On Osprey
15:24And now Taichi
15:26Laces
15:27Osprey with a kick
15:37I love that Taichi goes
15:40For these low kicks
15:43Instead of trading
15:46Forearms with his opponents
15:50Yeah the kicks of Taichi are his best weapon
15:54And they set up everything
15:59Whether the axe bobber
16:02Oh massive
16:04Yep
16:05Yep choosing to go to the body this time
16:08That mid kick
16:13Osprey catches
16:17Big chop into the chest
16:20Taichi also
16:23Winning matches with the black Mephisto
16:25But now Osprey
16:26Wait a second
16:27No
16:27Reversal
16:28Here he comes
16:29This time Taichi catches and delivers
16:32Oh dumps him
16:33On his head
16:41Shades of his former mentor Toshiaki Kawada
16:47With that backdrop suplex
16:55And now Osprey slowly pulls himself to the corner
16:59Taichi comes forward again using the feet
17:09Taichi could be setting for a superplex here
17:12Let's see
17:12If he's able to hit it
17:14Pivotally important match for Boltman
17:17Still very much in the mix
17:19Oh wow
17:20Looking for black Mephisto
17:21I think Kevin
17:22Jeez
17:23You're not kidding
17:24Black Mephisto
17:25From the top
17:27Osprey able to get down
17:29Traps Taichi's head
17:30Cheeky Nando's kick
17:37Here I am thinking
17:38Oh superplex
17:39No
17:40He was going for the
17:42Superblack Mephisto
17:44Yeah he was looking to end it
17:45And end it quickly
17:48Perhaps end everything for Osprey
17:50If he would have hit it
17:51He was able to fight out
17:59And Osprey
18:00Possibly
18:01Yeah looking to springboard
18:02No
18:03Goes to the corner instead
18:08Osaka picking up the rhythm of the clapping
18:10Here we go
18:12Oh
18:14Wow
18:15Went for that 450
18:16And 8
18:18Oh
18:20The axe bomber from behind
18:22Almost like a hidden blade
18:26I like that
18:27I haven't seen that from Taichi yet
18:33No way to see it
18:34No way to brace it
18:36You just get drilled
18:39And now one more
18:40Axe bomber
18:41Wait
18:42Osprey
18:43Turns it around
18:45Taichi slips out
18:46Oh
18:47Ate that high kick
18:49Not wasting any time with the follow up
18:52Here we go
18:53Last ride
18:54Hits
18:54To the stack too
18:56And a kick out
18:59That was very close
19:04Extremely close
19:12Where do you think Kevin
19:14Where does Taichi go from here
19:15He's got multiple options
19:19Well he caught that quick one on Minoru Suzuki
19:22He's shown a propensity for being a counter puncher
19:27First he's going to give Chris Charlton the thrill
19:34One more axe bomber
19:35And then one
19:36And then straight to Black Mephisto
19:38Thrust kick Kevin
19:39He's going to go thrust kick I think
19:40Yep
19:43With Osprey pulling himself up at the corner
19:45Here he comes thrust kick
19:46No
19:46Osprey with one of his own
19:49Oh hook kick
19:50Hook kick
19:55And for Osprey now
20:01Don't let this opportunity slip through your fingers Will
20:05Oscutter
20:06Here we go
20:07Oh
20:08Just like what happened the other night with Ibushi
20:15And he landed really awkward on that shoulder
20:20Possibly
20:21He probably could have separated it
20:26He didn't have the best camera angle
20:29That might have been where the kick landed as well
20:35So how bad is Osprey's left shoulder does that affect
20:39The use of Stormbreaker
20:41It might not even matter because Taichi looks like he's ready
20:45To add more points to his score
20:49And with Black Mephisto
20:51That's it it's over
20:52That's it it's over
20:53Wait a minute wait a minute
20:54Stormbreaker
20:55Stormbreaker
20:56Stormbreaker
20:57No
20:57Whoop
20:58Whoop
20:59Whoop
21:00Whoop
21:26Whoop
21:27Oh
21:30Avisan was ready to ring the bell
21:34We all thought it was over
21:37Taichi's in perfect positioning
21:39He didn't play
21:44The knockout shot
21:47And the follow up is Stormbreaker
21:51And the follow up is Stormbreaker
22:16And the second man to move to 10 points
22:20In the A block
22:24And Osprey with the
22:25Osprey with the win over Jay
22:29Puts him ahead
22:32Currently the leader
22:35He is currently the leader
22:41Osprey's got Cobb on Tuesday
22:53Oh and then just a little match up against Okada
22:57On the final night
23:00My best friend
23:01Your best friend
23:05What in the world is Taichi going after
23:07Who's he going after
23:08The referee
23:33Taichi not happy
23:35About that loss at all
23:43Taichi has to think
23:44You know
23:45He had Osprey at one point
23:48Had him right there
23:50Osprey was able to connect with that
23:52But Oscutter completely changed
23:57The way the match was going to go
23:59Yeah
23:59Yeah the chances of Taichi at this point
24:03Winning the block
24:04Just took a severe blow
24:09Super amazing
24:10Super
24:11I love you
24:12I need you
24:13I want you
24:15I want you
24:15I need you
24:16I love you
24:17What in the world is Milano drinking
24:21Taichi only has a tiebreaker over Minoru Suzuki
24:24I didn't know Milano would drink like that on the job
24:30I mean most of my color commentary partners over the years
24:36Are drunk during the whole show
24:38I mean just go back and listen
24:39The G's left to go
24:41I'm going to go
24:48Well Osprey was messing around with Taichi
24:50It nearly cost him
24:51But he gets the victory
24:53Moves to ten
