00:00Hey everybody, just wanted to give a quick update on some health issues I'm dealing with.
00:06I had this couple random rib fractures that happened, which sparked my doctor into having
00:14me do several different blood tests. And one of the last blood tests we did, they found
00:22a blood cancer in there called multiple myeloma, and it's rare. But I'm young, I feel healthy,
00:34and the treatments, I will say, have just come so far, even in the past five years,
00:41that even a life expectancy is just far exceeds what it used to be. And I don't know, I feel
00:50really hopeful. I really do. We have a friend going through this right now, and she's been
00:53sharing some of her journey. She's about two months ahead of me on this. And it really,
00:58you know, it helped me so much watching that. So I don't know, I think in the same spirit of
01:04the way we've kind of shared a lot of my sobriety journey, just getting this stuff off your chest
01:09is so freeing, and it takes the power away from it a little bit, that we wanted to let y
01:14'all know
01:15what was going on. And, but we're going to get through it. You know, I think in sobriety, it's
01:20all about one day at a time, and that we're not in control. And so that's the way we're looking
01:25at
01:25it. I mean, right now, I feel great. We're, you know, we've got a new record coming out soon with
01:31Lady A, and then we got Christmas shows. And, you know, this first six months of treatment,
01:37I believe is not going to be too super invasive. I can still work. I think physically, I will feel
01:44like myself. I'll have tough days, but, you know, I want to keep working. I even going out last
01:51weekend was like, after even knowing the news, it was like, this, this is where I belong. I mean,
01:56you know, I need to be happy and, and doing what I love to do and, and spending and soaking
02:00up as
02:01much time with my family as I can as well. But I'm hopeful, I really am. And, but we just
02:07want to
02:07let y'all know, and I'll try to let you in, you know, when I feel like it's appropriate throughout
02:11the journey. And, uh, it's just another hurdle and, you know, I'm real confident that we're
02:17going to get through it. Thankful for, you know, a great care team and to be in Nashville
02:23with, um, some really great doctors. So, um, yeah, we got, we got this.
