00:00The woman took off her undergarment and carefully stuffed it into the shoe to protect the phone inside.
00:04Then she threw it down from the height.
00:06This was their only way to call for help right now.
00:08Hunter held the binoculars, watching intently as the shoe hit the ground,
00:11hoping the phone inside would successfully send out a distress signal.
00:14Just when all seemed hopeless,Nia suddenly spotted someone at the base of the tower.
00:18The two of them started screaming at the top of their lungs,
00:21but they were so high up that the person below couldn't hear a thing.
00:24Fortunately,a nearby dog heard the shouting from the tower top,
00:27but the next second the person called the dog back home.
00:29Just as the person was about to leave,Nia frantically took off one of her shoes and threw
00:33it down.
00:33The shoe successfully hit a nearby metal frame.
00:36At that moment, the man seemed to notice something.
00:38The two saw a glimmer of hope and desperately shouted from the tower top,
00:41but after the man saw it was just a worn out shoe,
00:43he didn't even bother to smell it before turning and walking away.
00:46Nia immediately grabbed the flare gun to fire,
00:48but Hunter stopped her because the man wasn't even looking in the tower's direction.
00:52Firing now would just waste their only chance.
00:54Then Hunter noticed an RV nearby.
00:56They seemed to be preparing a barbecue.
00:57She decided to wait until dark to fire the flare gun.
01:00When nightfall came,Nia quickly pulled out the flare gun.
01:03But the moment she pulled the trigger, nothing happened.
01:05The man was about to walk into the RV.
01:07Nia finally figured out how to use the flare gun.
01:09As she pulled the trigger,a brilliant flare shot straight into the night sky,
01:13successfully catching the man's attention.
01:15Hunter immediately waved her phone frantically from the tower top,
01:18and the two people below finally spotted them.
01:20The women were so excited they were about to cry,
01:22but what happened next made them absolutely furious.
01:24The man grabbed a crowbar, smashed their car window, and blatantly stole the car.
01:28Before leaving, the man even flipped them off.
01:30Now not only had Rescue not come, but they'd even lost their car.
01:33The next day,Rescue was still nowhere in sight.
01:35They were hungry and thirsty now,and if they kept waiting, they'd die up there sooner or later.
01:39So Hunter decided to climb down to get the backpack.
01:42After securing the rope, she started climbing down, but she'd barely gone a short distance when something went wrong.
01:51Fortunately,Hunter stayed calm and handled it well, she steadied herself and soon climbed close to the
01:56backpack,but she was still a few meters away and couldn't reach it no matter what.
01:59At that moment,Hunter made a crazy decision,she unclipped her safety rope,grabbed the
02:03rope with one hand, and reached for the backpack with the other.
02:06However,she still couldn't reach it,so she decided to swing over and jump.
02:10Hunter,no!Hunter!
02:12She landed on the only support point. This heart-stopping moment made her pulse race.
02:17She carefully leaned her head out.She couldn't imagine what would happen if she slipped.
02:20After calming down,Hunter opened the backpack, and with trembling hands poured some water into her mouth.
02:25Nia at the tower top watched with parched throat, only able to swallow reflexively.
02:29But now, climbing back to the tower top became Hunter's biggest challenge.
02:33The rope was right in front of her,but out of reach,so she pulled out a selfie stick and
02:36hooked the backpack onto the rope.
02:38After securing it,Hunter leapt forward and grabbed hold of the dangling backpack.
02:41Nia at the tower top also gave it everything she had, while Nia used both hands and feet
02:45to climb up bit by bit.
02:47Just as they were about to reach the top, something unexpected happened.
