00:00It is submitted that a severe hailstorm occurred during the intervening night of 11th and 12th September 2026 at around
00:0811.45pm in various villages of Tehsil Kunzar Tangmar, falling under 11 Gulmar Constituency, causing damage to agricultural and horticultural
00:18crops including apple orchards, maize and paddy rice.
00:21As reported by Tehsil Dar Kunzar Tangmar, white number PK Oblique Relief, Oblique 2026-27, Oblique 35-36, dated 12
00:33-9-2026, revenue teams along with the horticulture and agriculture teams have already been deputed to the affected villages for
00:41conducting on-the-spot assessment and verification of the crop damage as per the prescribed norms and guidelines.
00:47The concerned teams have been directed to furnish their detailed assessment reports that the earliest and village-wise, crop-wise
00:55extent of damage shall be intimated on receipt and consolidation of the field reports.
01:00No compensation or relief has been sanctioned or released so far as the on-the-spot assessment and verification of
01:06the crop damage by the revenue, agriculture and horticulture teams is still in progress.
01:11Sanction or relief of compensation along with details of amount and number of beneficiaries shall follow strictly as per the
01:18prescribed relief norms once the consolidated assessment report is received from the field teams and processed at this end.
01:25The matter is presently at the stage of on-spot assessment and verification of damage by the concerned teams in
01:31the affected villages of the Tehsil concerns.
01:33As no case stands finalised on the date, the number of cases assessed, approved and paid and the number of
01:39cases pending shall be reported once the detailed assessment reports of the concerned team punctaries are received and consolidated.
01:47And therefore as such, no proposal in the department for assessment of losses is under process.
