14:08you recently had an occasion which sort of you know I know yes I am a great believer in angels
14:14this story I'll try and reduce we we have a family home in France and we were driving down for
14:20the
14:20very first time my husband Steven and myself and the car was absolutely jammed to the roof with
14:25chest of drawers but bedside tables kitchen material everything you can think of I mean really packed
14:31and I can only assume in middle France it was very it was very very hot and we've done the
14:36motorway and
14:37now on the inside and in a road and it I think I just must have dozed off I don't
14:41know but I was
14:42driving and I was going very slowly through this time it subsequently turned out that I'd actually
14:48careered across a very busy road with a lot of trucks coming along and my only knowledge of it was
14:54that I went bang and woke up against a concrete planter and lots of people looking in now I could
15:01have killed women and children in the process and I'm absolutely confused my poor husband has
15:07to be taken to hospital tried to kill him off really early anyway I was absolutely petrified
15:13and all of a sudden in this area where nobody spoke English and my French is very limited
15:19all of a sudden out of the crowd came this long blonde haired girl and in perfect English she said
15:24to me would you like me to look after your things and we had everything and all personal things ever
15:29night with no hesitation I said yes we went off to hospital and thank God Stephen was fine
15:35we had to stay overnight and we went across the road the next morning to have a cup of coffee
15:40and
15:41have some breakfast and this girl appeared again and she said would you like me to take you to where
15:46your car is now we didn't even know where the car was because the pompier and the police had taken
15:50it
15:50away and it turned out to be four kilometers out of the town so she drove us there there's no
15:56doubt
15:56about the fact that she existed so we went there cut a long story again we got a hard car
16:02filled up the
16:03car went back to the town Stephen had his final check at the hospital and I said let's buy some
16:08flowers
16:08and take them to the girl in the cafe who helped us so much bought the flowers went to the
16:13cafe and not
16:15one person anywhere knew of a blonde haired girl who worked in the cafe who spoke perfect English
16:22nobody knew of her now maybe had we stayed another couple of days we might have found out the mystery
16:27but I believe to this day that she was an earth angel I think there are earth angels people who

16:33sent to you at a time of trauma and I believe that's what she was so we still have the
16:37image of this
16:38beautiful long long haired girl very blonde very pretty very calm and she helped us
16:44so much at that time amazing well done

25:57But in fact, it goes back to the Dutch forlorn hoop, which meant a lost troop, because that
26:02was the vanguard of an army that went ahead to suss out the enemy and very often never came

26:07So they were, if you like, the embodiment of a forlorn hope.
26:10But they were really the lost troop in Dutch.

26:15Rule of thumb, the favourite story attached to that woman.
26:18In fact, it really was just all about measurements.
26:20But the rule of thumb story is that wife beaters were restricted to a stick no wider than their
