16:21Oui.
16:22Red Shoes est en position,
16:23il stoppe le match
16:25quand Will Osprey
16:26l'unprotecte l'elbos à la tête
16:29et il stoppe le match très très rapidement
16:30je dirais que ça
16:32je ne pense pas que Shota Uminar
16:34n'a pas vraiment apprécié
16:36sa famille
16:37il faut passer
16:42je pense que
16:43on peut-être que
16:45c'est le dojo
16:46ou le modern-day
16:47New Japan
16:47c'est definitely
16:49seen as a hurdle,
16:50the fact that his father is the official for this main event here tonight.
16:54It is a hurdle to leap over.
16:56Umino, fisherman suplex out the corner.
16:59Will we fight it?
17:00And it's only two.
17:01You've heard the rumor, you've heard the talk.
17:09I think really we showed to Umino it's just been
17:13a matter sometimes of an awful lot of voices, you know?
17:16and a lot of those who
17:19have the best of intentions
17:21trying to offer as much advice as they can
17:24and then it
17:25it can be
17:27incredibly dispiriting
17:28when someone's telling
17:29tell you don't do that, do this
17:31and then someone else is telling you the exact opposite.
17:33I think Shota Umino has benefited a lot
17:36from blocking out the outside noise here
17:39and
17:40certainly seems to be doing an effective job on that lead there.
17:44No, no, no, no, no, no.
17:46You heard Finley call it from Masahiro Chono to Shota Umino.
17:50Here is the STF.
17:55One of the many influences Shota Umino has taken on in his career.
17:59Come on, Finley.
18:01Get away, get away, get away, get away.
18:03Come on Finley.
18:04Don't let's get up.
18:06Come on, come on, come on.
18:08As David Finley was fingertips away from that bottom rope instead.
18:12Umino, that is smart, that is in-ring awareness out of Shota tonight.
18:18Come on, Finley.
18:22Come on, Finley.
18:23Come on, Finley.
18:25Move, move, move, move.
18:28Come on, Finley.
18:35Come on, Finley.
18:37Get a bucket, ordering it.
18:42Shota, David Finley to move there.
18:44And again, yeah, pulls him dead center.
18:46Gonna drop him over the knee.
18:48And now one more time that STF blocked him in.
18:51That's deep here, Chris.
18:53That is deeper than you might have seen it one month ago.
18:56Certainly, I think Shota Umino doing more, shifting his weight backwards to drive more pressure on the knee.
19:04That's gonna give him a little sacrifice when it comes to getting closer around the face.
19:12And yeah, Finley was able to reposition, showed his hands there a little bit.
19:18It's all about weight distribution.
19:23That's why the taller you are, the more effective that hold is,
19:26because you're able to distribute your weight more evenly across your opponent.
19:38And David Finley not one to consider the tap, the bottom rope adhered to, and we're back to it.
19:52You know, you talk about the people that are inside the mind of Shota Umino.
19:55I want to take you back to the Tokyo Dome this year.
19:58Walk back through Zack Sabre Jr., Shota Umino, 40 plus minutes that we saw.
20:02I really do believe that the thousands of people in that building were the masters for Umino on that night.
20:08As Shota Umino cared more about those people, cover here.
20:13Cruiser fixed down one more time, nearly stole it away.
20:17Too focused on the people, not enough on the impact.
20:21Well, David Finley was focused on the impact, and the impact instead came right down on the right knee.
20:27But Shota Umino had worked over on the front end here.
20:31But that right there, to compare January 4th to March 20th, it's the biggest change I feel we've seen since
20:37Shota's return for the cup.
20:38Well, there were moments in that match against Zack Sabre Jr., and I said it in the moment,
20:44that Umino was doing the exact right thing.
20:46And it was the moments where the crowds were booing Shota Umino.
20:50It was when Shota was willing to put the black hat on.
20:54Nobody wears a hat blacker or has a heart darker than David Finley.
21:00And I think Shota Umino's gonna have to go places if he wants to beat the man who just threw
21:05a cactus clothesline.
21:06But again, right down on that right knee wall.
21:09Yeah, that is going to be a plaguing injury here for David Finley.
21:13I actually know, I have it on authority, it's been bothering Finley throughout this tournament.
21:17Takes you back to that Zack Sabre Jr. match that we especially saw the knee worked over.
21:31No time limit, of course, New Japan Cup Final.
21:34I would say that Red Shoes will not be applying a 20 account.
21:39Either.
21:40But Finley.
21:43And Umino shifting our entire guardrail set here tonight at ringside.
21:49And not in the favor of Shota Umino.
21:57Well, wait a second.
21:59God, what are we doing here?
22:00Well, I mean, I could take a guess.
22:03How about you?
22:04A conversation about confidence, security.
22:08It all leads to the game plan.
22:10David Finley, it's tried and true.
22:11Well, I don't think David Finley, I don't think Red Shoes is gonna apply a double count out on the
22:17floor.
22:17But if Finley could put Umino through that table, or maybe.
22:24This isn't the cute little shooter we know and love.
22:29Not at all, Umino.
22:30Umino, good lord.
22:33And that is spine first.
22:36Steel and wood.
22:36Yeah.
22:37In the back of Shota.
22:38Now watch it, Finley.
22:39Look out, look out.
22:40Straight power.
22:46Hey guys.
22:49And now David Finley.
22:51Finley going in for the kill shot.
22:54Umino and Nagi through the table.
23:01And we're gonna take a look one more time.
23:03Right through the table, right next to the prize in the back.
23:07That's the New Japan Cup trophy that David Finley looks to win.
23:18Well, and Umino has to do his job and he wouldn't apply a double count out on the floor,
23:24but he'll apply a count to Shota Umino.
23:26And Finley will be glad to take the New Japan Cup by a count out Walker.
23:31No problem at all.
23:32Just like Hulk Hogan against Antonio Inoki in the first IWGP tournament.
23:45Wait.
23:47No, no, no, no, no.
23:51Well, maybe Finley doesn't.
23:53Gladly want to win for a count out.
23:55I'm gonna bring him inside.
23:56I'm gonna bring him inside.
23:58Yeah.
23:59Bring gold, bring bodies.
24:01It's okay.
24:02David Finley as the leader of the Bullet Club.
24:05To establish both.
24:06To establish both.
24:13The ring moved with the force of Shota Umino.
24:25And almost broke another ring post.
24:27He used to call it, he used to call it.
24:35One, two, one, two, one.
24:36Walker, you knew what that was.
24:37That was the wrestling IQ of David Finley.
24:40He didn't go outside to bring Shota Umino in and pin him like a man.
24:44He did it because he saw Shota Umino stir and he needed to do more damage to get the 20
24:49count.
24:50That's intelligence.
24:52David Finley.
24:54Oh, Shota, Shota.
24:56After every setback, every single loss in the world, this one cannot be afforded via count out,
25:04especially not against David Finley.
25:08And you better get there, Kevin.
25:10Count of 19, and Umino backhand.
25:15David Finley was one count away from making history.
25:20But Umino Defiant says no.
25:22Come on, Shota.
25:23Show these people.
25:25There's that same Defiant, Shota.
25:27Come on, what you got?
25:29What you got?
25:31That injured his back badly before last year's G1 Climax and insisted on going through the entire turn.
25:38Injured his ankle during World Tag League, insisted on wrestling every single night.
25:45Like Finley said, willing to kill himself to prove himself.
25:50That's admirable quality, but kill yourself to prove yourself to who?
26:06Do you prove yourself to your father?
26:10Do you prove yourself to the people?
26:12Not to Finley.
26:13Here's the cover.
26:15As it's to Umino.
26:17As the one thing Shota Umino lacked, faith in himself via the proof.
26:30As now imbound that Dominator.
26:34Nearly, Umino would love the leverage on the backslide here.
26:37No, but not after going through that table on the floor, Walker.
26:41Not after being power bombed into the ring post.
26:44And instead, here we go, David.
26:46Hey.
26:47Popped up, no.
26:48Wait, wait, whoa.
26:52Beautiful counter there out of Shota Umino.
26:54Plants Finley down with a DDT.
26:56Well, almost half DDT and half a complete shot.
27:00But look at what Shota's clutching.
27:03Wow, you're right.
27:05That lower spine, that hip, injured, tantalized throughout G1 Climax.
27:30That's the roar, Goloya.
27:41Sous-titrage Société Radio-Canada
28:01Well, the strategy behind this one, I don't think so too.
28:05Umino gives a damn what I think.
28:08Feast of Famine here, you gotta think about your back, Sunshine.
28:15No, Umino, Umino to risk it all, to risk it all.
28:21A shockwave through Umino, compounded on Finlay, a cover for the top, no.
28:48It was a ripper on Shingo the other night for Finlay.
28:53Nope, turned down, and the drop kick beats the jaw in the end.
28:58Look at this, Umino has loved this half suplex throughout the tournament.
29:11Watch that area.
29:12Oh, meeting it.
29:16David Finlay rocked, but not stumbled forever.
29:20Finlay collapsing now, down to the knee.
29:34Ooh, and still a mighty sweep.
29:39Whoa, boom.
29:47Umino, Umino, half suplex drops Finlay on the neck.
29:50Finlay to the feet, caught in the catch.
29:52Another half, Nelson.
29:53The repeat, the repeat.
29:57And now, bon voyage Umino on cover on the hat trick.
30:02Nearly, nearly becoming a new Japan Cup champion.
30:12One of these two men will etch their name in the history books for
30:16the first time in their careers.
30:20Sight set for Umino.
30:24And a spear, the spear from Finlay.
30:31But might have knocked that shoulder out of joint.
30:36Walker, long history of shoulder issues on David Finlay.
30:41On the last time we talked about the press, remember G1 FIMAX 34,
30:45the last singles tournament, David Finlay nearly saw himself to the end it.
30:50But he's found himself much closer here, and it's all about closing the gap.
30:54Both of these men, over the course of their careers at times,
31:00been deemed undesirable.
31:03Only one will be undeniable.
31:07And now, this is staple David Finlay.
31:15It's still.
31:17Powerbomb.
31:18We're gonna see it again.
31:20Shota, to the knees, on the spine.
31:24Cover.
31:25No.
31:30Some of that lower back pain on Shota,
31:33returning I think on that Powerbomb.
31:35And he couldn't get all the body and body on the cover.
31:41Get on ringside, willing these people on.
31:44Again, stubborn, tenacious, wants that lariat.
31:48Here it is.
31:52Shota folds in the rebel.
31:55And still, the kick out in two.
32:01Is it time?
32:03It could be, Northern Lights, no.
32:06Finlay, Finlay, here he is.
32:08It's Dominator.
32:32What a fight it's been, but Finlay says it's over now.
32:35Yeah.
32:36And it could be.
32:38Whoa.
32:39No.
32:40Umino with the counter and the cutter.
32:44He can't make the cover, Walker.
32:47All he could to avoid his oblivion.
33:04And Finlay's on Dream Street right now.
33:09Shota Omino is not far from behind.
33:11Yeah, and if he wants second chapter, and I think that's how he wants to win this match,
33:16is gonna pick up dead weight, and David Finlay to do so.
33:31Here we go.
33:34A different man right here might change his game plan.
33:38Shota stubborn, must be set in his ways, to understand his ways.
33:43There it is.
33:44Up and down.
33:45No.
33:46Finlay.
33:47No, the kill blocks.
33:49One, two, three, two, three, two.
33:54That's stubborn tenacity for Finlay as well.
34:09Oh, God.
34:11Shota Omino.
34:13He's out.
34:14He just knocked his head clean off.
34:17And David Finlay fish out of water.
34:20Rihanna.
34:21Who do we know?
34:22We have a new winner.
34:23We have a new Japan Cup.
34:24No, no, no, no.
34:26My God.
34:27I cannot believe it.
34:33Luminos on the cost, on the cost of everything he wanted.
34:37Open up the second shot, said no.
34:40Into oblivion.
34:42He didn't look before and done again.
34:44No.
35:04For a moment, the soul, if he still has one, was not cleaned out of the body of David Finlay,
35:12but the heart still pops back.
35:17No.
35:19Finlay.
35:20No.
35:24No.
35:25Good God have mercy.
35:28David Finlay, a freaking animal.
35:34No.
35:36Unreal, Finlay.
35:40No.
35:54They have indeed been willing to kill themselves, to prove themselves, to prove that they are the Spring Survivor and
36:03the New Japan Cup winner.

37:18nouveau JAPAN CUP GENER !
37:35JAPAN CUP GENER !
37:39Shoto Umino est moments away from finally achieving everything he has hoped for.
37:49Everything that he had anticipated the shift leading to,
37:53and still, Shoto Umino est venant.

38:16And it is official, April 5th, Sakura Genesis.
38:23It is one-on-one, one more time.
38:27And now, the IWGP World Heavyweight title is up for grabs with it.
38:36David Finlay will take on Hiroki Goto.
38:43Wow.
38:47Snatching the trophy out of Vice President Matsuoto-san.
38:53But to the victor, the spoils.
38:57Well, you might not like David Finlay as a human being at times, Walker.
39:01But you cannot say that that was anything other than richly deserved.
39:17Oh, wait a second.
39:28My way.
39:30Do you understand?
39:32My way.
39:33My way.
39:34You wanna be like me?
39:35Keep following my lead.
39:39Well, you heard it as well as I did.
39:46Hey, Uman, I got it.
39:52Chris, I'm not seeing any way one could possibly disagree after what we just saw.
40:04Well, if David Finlay wants to prove his way is the way,
40:07he's gotta be World Heavyweight Champion.
40:18And just like that, I am your new Japan Cup Champion!
40:31Let me get straight to business.
40:33Goto, Mr. Champion, if you would please get your old ass in this ring right motherfucking now.
40:56Come on, champ.
40:57We've got a Sakura Genesis main event, Orca.
40:59Goota! Goota! Goota! Goota! Goota! Goota!
41:09Goota!
41:10Go oop of中國!
41:12Come on, I'm not gonna hurt you.
41:18I keep hearing all this bullshit about some Goto revolution.
42:41And we're getting the party started.
42:56Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up.
42:59Hold up, hold up, we'll get to that point, Gabe, don't you worry.
43:02Listen, I beat Goto in front of his own children.
43:08I made his daughter cry and I did it with a smile on my face.
43:15Goto, your Cinderella run is over.
43:19I am the savage king.
43:21I am coming for my crown.
43:24So your fairy tale is over.
43:26I am taking your title because hate always finds a way.
43:34I am coming for you.
43:35I am coming for you.
43:37I am coming for you.
43:38Hey, Goto.
43:39I am telling you, Finley,
43:42I am going to cry for a woman again.
43:45I am going to cry for you, this fool.
43:48On top of that, you will lose everything.
43:53It's the secret to hate.
43:57And you can't stop that.
44:01The rebel take the fucking over everything.
44:07I need a rebel.
44:09New Japan need a rebel.
44:12In the world need a rebel.
44:19New Japan Cup 2020-25
44:23The rebel, David Finley.
44:47There is no party like a War Dog party.
44:50And there is great cause for celebration here tonight for the Bullet Club War Dogs.
44:55What a match and what a victory for David Finley.
45:00But he's managed to overcome Shota Umino.
45:03Hiroki Goto is a completely other beast.
45:06And we are going to see that battle come.
45:09Sakura Genesis Live, Ryo Goku Sumoho on April 5th.
45:13Chris, I can't wait.
45:14Yeah, what a beast indeed.
45:16A beast that David Finley has changed in the past at Ryo Goku Sumoho.
45:21But Hiroki Goto is IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
45:26That's a different story.
