00:00I was living with a teacher. I was living on the streets. I was living on benches.
00:03My father is still in a homeless shelter because of this. I was homeless for a while.
00:07She passed away in 2018. She had a heart attack. They did admit that I didn't do anything.
00:11They came out and told the truth to their foster family, to their foster mom, to the family,
00:15to the family. But whatever family we have around, I don't have a big family, but they know I didn't
00:18do anything. But it was only after my mother passed away that they told me that I didn't do
00:21anything. So I feel like my mother died thinking I touched your kids and hated me for no reason.
00:25My mom kind of realized that before she passed away that they were alive because they were just
00:28saying that everybody was touching them. You know what I mean? And I was like, that can't be
00:31possible. The dogs and cats are touching you. The frogs are touching you. She's touching you.
00:34My mom kind of realized like they were lying the whole time. And my mother, my mother tried to reach
00:38out. Three months before she passed away, she reached out and she didn't apologize. She didn't
00:43mention it, but I seen a change in her demeanor. And then she, we tried to build a connection.
00:48And then she ended up dying because she went to the hospital and the hospital was telling her
00:52that she was okay. She said she felt sick. She felt ill. And he kept sending her home.
00:56I'm now diagnosed with schizophrenia. I'm a schizophrenic. I'm diagnosed with schizophrenia by a doctor.
01:00I was just diagnosed earlier this year in January because I used to want to as a child. I hear
01:05voices and I hear things and I feel things. They're very like, you're an idiot, you're dumb,
01:10you're stupid. They don't want me to do anything like harm myself or anything because I thank the
01:12Lord. But they are very negative and it's like static in my head and it's just very hard for me
01:16to live.
01:16Right now, I'm in a mind space where I feel like my story could probably help a lot of people
01:21because people go through things. I'm an adult now. My mind has changed. I process things a little bit
01:25differently. So I just feel like I'm able to like, I just feel strength.
