00:03Here are all the tips and tricks that people don't want you to know.
00:05After a year off to let the land recover,
00:07Wordly Farm will reopen its gates in 2027 for the legendary music festival
00:11and will see more than 200,000 people across five days
00:14from Wednesday the 23rd of June to Sunday the 27th of June next year.
00:18According to bookies, the probability of securing a ticket to Glastonbury
00:21is less than a 1 in 10 chance, 8.4% to be exact.
00:25But don't let that put you off from trying.
00:27Mark your calendars, set your reminders, write it on the back of your hand.
00:30Tickets with Coach Travel go on sale at 6pm on Thursday the 1st of October
00:34and general admission tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday the 4th of October.
00:38But before we get that far, you need to have registered online.
00:41The deadline to do this is 5pm on Friday the 25th of September.
00:44If you miss this, I'm afraid there'll be no Glastonbury for you.
00:47When you register, you'll have to submit your details along with a passport photo of yourself,
00:51which is directly linked to your ticket, meaning that all tickets are strictly non-transferable.
00:55Then, once your registration's been approved, you'll receive an email confirmation along with a registration number.
01:00This is essential.
01:02So that's the easy bit.
01:02Now comes the hard part, securing tickets.
01:05These are only sold at glastonbury.seetickets.com.
01:08Any other platform claiming to sell tickets is unauthorized.
01:11You can book up to 6 tickets per transaction.
01:13So, for the best chance of success, get yourself into a group of 6.
01:16Make a group chat and note down every group member's details,
01:19including their full names, postcodes, and crucially, their registration numbers.
01:22Some people take it a step further and create spreadsheets containing everyone's registration info
01:26or even schedule a Zoom call for when it comes to ticket time.
01:29Getting tickets to Glastonbury is a team sport, so make sure you trust your team.
01:33When the big day arrives, ensure all of your group are active and online before tickets go live,
01:38as anyone who logs on once the sale is started will automatically be added to the back of the queue.
01:42Don't try using multiple devices or having more than one tab open at once,
01:46as this could actually spoil your chances.
01:47If you're on the page when it hits 9am on the 4th of October, or 6pm on the 1st of
01:51October for coach packages,
01:53then you'll get randomly assigned a place in the queue.
01:55Have every member of your group continue the process simultaneously until one of you has fully checked out.
02:00And if you're lucky enough to make it to the front of the queue before everything's sold out, stay calm.
02:04You have 10 minutes to enter the registration details for every single member of your group
02:08and complete your payment before your session expires.
02:11To secure the tickets, you'll need to put down a £100 deposit for each person you're buying for.
02:15So, if you're in a group of 6, make sure you've got £600 in the bank.
02:18Just in case a payment doesn't go through, you'll have an alternative card option at the ready.
02:22Also ensure you have your banking apps on hand in case you need to verify your payment.
02:26A word to the wise, if your details are entered incorrectly,
02:29your registration number has already been used in another attempt to book,
02:31or you run out of time to complete your order,
02:33your registration numbers will be locked for up to 5 minutes.
02:36And this is why trusting your team is crucial.
02:39Let's say someone in your group, we'll call them Person 1,
02:41is also part of another group where they've shared their registration info,
02:44thinking it'll boost their chances of success.
02:46This is a huge Glastonbury no-no,
02:48because if the other group gets through first and checks out using Person 1's registration info,
02:52then when it comes to your group to turn to checkout,
02:54the site will notice Person 1's registration number has already been used,
02:57and your group won't be able to complete the order.
03:00It's also worth noting, tickets aren't allocated until you've fully checked out,
03:03so don't close or refresh the tab at that point.
03:06The only exception to the no-refreshing rule is if you see the message,
03:09all available tickets have now been allocated,
03:11at which point hitting refresh means any orders that haven't been processed
03:14will go back on sale and become available for you to buy.
03:17As they say, it's not over until the fat lady sings,
03:20or in this case, the message sold out appears on the website.
03:23So set your alarms, make your spreadsheets,
03:25and for the love of God, check your internet connection before tickets go live.
