Dozens of delegates walked out of the United Nations General Assembly hall on Thursday, Sept. 24, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his address.
As Netanyahu took the podium, members of the Israeli delegation stood and applauded while delegates from several countries left the hall.
Before proceeding with his speech, Netanyahu addressed those who walked out, calling them “moral cowards.”
