Torrential rain triggered severe flooding across Pattaya in Thailand, with water levels approaching one metre at several locations. Major routes including Sukhumvit Road, Pattaya Third Road and areas near Moom Aroi were badly affected, leaving smaller vehicles stranded and traffic severely disrupted. Authorities moved in to close dangerous sections and speed up drainage as more heavy rain remains possible across Chonburi.
