00:00Now, speaking of diplomatic relations and geopolitics, it's another episode that unfolded at the UNGA yesterday.
00:08A busy 24 hours, of course, for U.S.-Iran relations, a fresh escalation that we saw, this time not on
00:15the battlefield,
00:15but in the war of words between Washington and Tehran, even as the back-channel diplomacy appears to be continuing
00:22at New York and at the sidelines of the UNGA, that is.
00:28At the UN General Assembly, it's Iranian President Masood Pazeshka who hit back at Donald Trump after his threatened talks
00:35accusing the U.S. and Israel of targeting innocent civilians and said Iran itself has been a victim of terrorism.
00:43Pazeshka also accused the U.S. and Israel of genocide, defended Iran's record of not attacking another country for two
00:52centuries
00:52and insisted that Tehran's right to peaceful nuclear technology is but non-negotiable at the end.
00:59And as Pazeshka spoke, the U.S. delegation could be seen walking out of the UNGA hall.
01:05Quite a dramatic scene that unfolded.
01:07This comes in the back of three-hour-long talks that was held between the two nations in New York.
01:13Remember, 24 hours ago, it was Donald Trump in his UNGA speech who had issued a stark warning to Iran
01:21saying that if there is no deal,
01:23the consequences could be devastating and warned he will drive Iran to hell and threatened to annihilate Iran.
01:30Perhaps a fast that we see from a president or from any state leader,
01:36in fact, putting forward a position of this kind within the United Nations General Assembly.
01:44Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy
01:52people and countries again?
01:55But I believe we'll make a deal right after the election because it doesn't make sense for them not to.
02:02They're waiting to see how I do in the midterm election.
02:06What they don't realize is that I'm not running when it comes to Iran.
02:11It doesn't even enter my mind.
02:14The only thing that does is that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.
02:21The cowards and traitors...
02:24No relationship with the foreign power can become the tools of threatening neighboring countries in the region.
02:31Iran cannot be made to surrender.
02:35Iran has never, ever been an aggressor, has never started a war,
02:41and has always shown her commitment to the negotiating table.
02:45They imposed the war on us.
02:47But we proved, we have proven that we're not afraid of fighting.
02:53There is no better example of a danger that was allowed to gather strength at the world's peril
02:58than the number one sponsor of terror, the Islamic Republic of Iran.
03:06For 51 years, the fanatical Iranian regime has ruled by bloodshed and mass murder,
03:15spreading death and carnage and chaos across the entire Middle East and beyond.
03:21They were the bully of the Middle East, but they are the bully no more.
03:25From the first day I entered the political arena, I've been unwavering.
03:30I will never allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
03:33Israel targets any neighborhood in a city in any province, commits assassinations like a true terrorist in Gaza.
03:42Over 80,000 innocent civilians have been murdered, brutally murdered.
03:49Hundreds of thousands have been displaced.
03:52They are committing genocide by using the topal so-called technologies that they have at their disposal.
03:58Then they label others as terrorists.
04:00Are we, the forces of instability, we only seek to live independently.
04:07We are the ones who cause instability.
04:10Those who are committing terrorism and committing crimes, are they the protectors of peace and stability?
04:17None of the international laws have been adhered to by them.
04:23Even after we agreed to a ceasefire for nuclear discussions,
04:27Iran promptly violated it with brazen acts of terrorism against civilian ships from other countries.
04:34I want to thank the UN Security Council for voting overwhelmingly to pass a resolution
04:40condemning Iran's despicable terrorist attacks on commercial shipping.

04:48In waters, in the Strait of Hormones, we do not, we cannot let some have free access
04:57and gain their interest from a waterway while at the same time using that waterway
05:03to impose their aggressions upon us, to impose insecurity upon us,
05:09to forbid us access to our own waterways.
05:13They close access for us to our own waterway,
05:19yet they keep supplying missiles and deadly military technologies
05:26to bring insecurity to all of the lands surrounding that waterway.
05:31I call on all nations to join us in enforcing the complete economic isolation of Iran
05:37until they stop their attacks on commercial shipping,
05:41relinquish their nuclear ambitions, and cease their support of terror.
05:47The terrorist regime is behaving badly, not because they are strong and confident,
05:54but because they are weak and desperate.
05:58If we stand united, we will soon see a world free of the last 51-year menace
06:05of Iranian terror, and oil prices will come plummeting down,
06:09even lower than they were at the start of the conflict, and they were very low.
06:14We will not bow our heads and give up the right that is inherently ours.
06:21We say it clearly, no nuclear weapons and no limitations to peaceful nuclear technology.
06:28Our peace will not come in the field of battle,
06:37but they must give the needed security to the people and nation of Iran.
06:44We seek cooperation in order to have security.
06:48We live in a region in which warfare knows no borders.
06:52Crisis in one land will spill into the surrounding nations.
06:58That's why Iran does not see her neighbors as security rivals.
07:05We want to have strong neighbors.
