Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has firmly rejected direct negotiations with the US over Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, reiterating that Tehran will continue its uranium enrichment, calling it a sovereign right. Speaking to Al Jazeera, Araghchi stated that Iran would not dismantle or limit its missile capabilities, and warned that no rational actor would disarm. While rejecting direct talks, he expressed openness to indirect negotiations aimed at addressing international concerns about Iran’s nuclear activities, which he insisted were peaceful. Araghchi criticized the US for imposing "unacceptable and impossible" conditions that he believes have stalled diplomatic efforts.
