00:05times when family or professionals could have stepped in and removed you from your mother's
00:09care. In your opinion, do you have any insight as to why that never happened?
00:15You know, I think a big part of it was there was people that had suspicions, family included,
00:22but nobody just wants to rock the boat, you know, so it wasn't brought up to other people. It wasn't
00:30talked about. So people kind of kept their suspicions to themselves just for fear of upsetting my mom
00:36and her ultimately pushing them away as friends or whatnot. So I think that on the professional
00:45standpoint, I think that for those doctors that did have suspicions, I think it all has to do with
00:52money, honestly. And that's just my, that's my opinion about it. Um, you know, they were making
00:58money off of me. And so I think that in their profession, I think that that came first.
01:05I remember Gypsy, we had discussed that CPS came to your house at one point.
01:10Um, remind me about that. Yeah. Tell, tell us about that.
01:14They did come to my house. Um, and basically they were asking me the wrong questions. So they were
01:21looking, they're like, show me your arm, show me your legs. And they were checking for bruises. And
01:26at that point, my mom never hit me. Um, they wasn't asking the right questions to me.
01:34Yeah. And so nothing was ever, ever, ever done. Nothing like there was no follow-up report or
01:40anything. They came the one time, um, and then they closed the file. And if I recall from our
01:47conversation, this happened in the Habitat for Humanity house on volunteer way. Is that my
01:52memory's right? Yeah. One thing that if I recall, this is just my memory. I think after that incident,
01:59when CPS came, I believe you were telling me your mom became more paranoid about strangers and put
02:06garbage bags over the windows. Right. Right. Tell us about that. She became like increasingly more
02:14paranoid after that visit from CPS. And, um, she actually went as far as to remove the doorbell
02:20on the door. Um, because she was just so paranoid about them coming back. Yeah.
