00:00I'm thrilled to be here at the second meeting of the Shield of the Americas.
00:04The Shield of the Americas is a big deal.
00:07Maybe you don't know it, but it's a big deal.
00:10Very important.
00:11And this is the largest and most powerful alliance for economic and national security
00:15ever to convene in the Western Hemisphere.
00:19And I'd say that's pretty good.
00:21So today I'm asking all nations in the Shield of the Americas
00:25to formally designate narco-terrorists as common threats to stability
00:28and apply crushing sanctions against all 24 U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organizations.
00:35Until I came along, nobody designated anything.
00:38You were on your own, but now you're not on your own anymore.
00:41But we must secure control of our own energy pipelines, rare earth elements,
00:46and agricultural trade corridors.
00:48And it's something that you know how to do, and you know how to do it very well.
00:52The resources of the Americas must always belong to the people of the Americas.
00:58The United States is eager to work with you to achieve this goal
01:02and to strengthen all of our nations.
01:05And we're working with many of you, and so many of you, almost all of you,
01:08I recognize just by your own great work.
01:12I mean, great work.
01:13You're very respected people.
01:14You're doing something that a lot of people thought couldn't be done very easily.
01:18So I want to thank you once again.
01:20It's a great honor to be here.
01:21And I just want to let you know that the United States is standing behind you.
01:25And Cuba, I mean, what can I say about Cuba?
01:28They had another blackout last night.
01:29They don't have enough for lights.
01:32I don't know what's going on with Cuba, but they're not looking so good.
01:35But, you know, Marco's parents were born in Cuba.
01:37It's like a great story.
01:38And he wants to figure it all out, Marco, right?
01:41You want to figure out what's exactly there.
01:43I think he has figured it out.
01:45So we're going to someday in the near future drop him off in the middle of Cuba, just on the
01:51way back, on the way back from Iran.
01:53We're going to have one of those big, beautiful aircraft carriers, fly him in, drop him off, and he'll figure
01:59out the rest.
