What was the core motivation behind developing the U145, and why do operators need an uncrewed variant of the H145?

Constance Pinsdorf: Our main motivation was to create an autonomous aircraft based on an existing platform. We want to have an autonomous platform that can carry more than the standard H145. Meaning, we increased the payload. Of course, we also want to use this autonomy to send the aircraft into an area that is more hostile. Therefore, it is really helpful to do it using machines and computers instead of risking human lives.
