00:12Hey, this is Elizabeth Mitchell from The Daily Signal. The House has recently passed several
00:17anti-fraud measures. Are you talking with Senate leadership about moving forward with codifying
00:21some of your fraud reforms during this session? So we are talking to Senate leadership. Senator
00:26Joni Ertz from Iowa has really taken this by the horns. A number of our colleagues, Eric Schmidt from
00:30Missouri. But also, you know, the House has been very forward leaning on this stuff. Obviously,
00:35it's a little bit easier in the House because they don't have the same set of legislative rules,
00:38stuff that I frankly don't fully understand. But I think the House has been a little bit more
00:42forward leaning on this. I think we've got a lot of work to do. There are some pieces of
00:47legislation that we think could be codified by the end of the term, meaning the end of the Senate
00:51term. So we're going to keep on working with them. But look, it's a lot easier and it would be
00:56a lot
00:56easier if congressional Democrats were willing to participate in this work. And the pitch that I'd
01:00make to them is this is not about cutting off anybody from their benefits. It's about cutting off
01:05fraudsters from stealing from these programs. If you really believe in food stamps for low-income
01:11moms and kids, if you really believe in the Medicare program that provides medical care to our
01:16elderly citizens, and I think that all of us do, then you should be falling over yourself to help
01:22us fight the fraud. I don't know why congressional Democrats are so uninterested in this, but we'd love
01:27to have their help.
01:28Can you break down the number of a little bit more of the 750,000 individuals? Do you believe that
01:34all of
01:35these people do not exist or there are some real people with plans and now they are kicked off their
01:40plans? So I'll let Dr. Oz speak to the details a little bit. My understanding of the 750,000
01:46who we're cutting off today, it is a mixture of phantom people, people who don't exist. And it's
01:51also a mixture of people who clearly don't meet the eligibility requirement. And then again,
01:55there's another 420,000 where we're going to do a little bit more diligence on.
