00:00Hello guys, this is Max from RQS and today is a very special day.
00:04We received the grow box right there and we're gonna set it up all together.
00:08So the first box here is the grow tent with all accessories.
00:12The second box that comes here is the LED.
00:15Just for the grow tent, just enough light to feed your favorite plants.
00:19So just so you understand, we've got three sizes.
00:22The smallest size will come in one parcel.
00:25The mid-size and the big size will actually in two packages.
00:30The RQS grow tent.
00:32So this is a 90 by 90 and this is all the components for the grow tent.

00:43Duck fan.

01:12All right guys, now time to check out the grow box.
01:16And what do we have first?
01:18A piece of carton.
01:19So you don't cut your grow tent whenever you open the box.
01:23The first thing we get and we'll find here is the actual textile and the whole grow box itself.
01:31The zips, the window, everything is right in there.
01:34Then the next set, it's your bar.
01:36So those are the female parts.
01:38And those are the other parts that we'll plug in.
01:42So it's very simple.
01:43You've got letters B and C and the A are just right there.
01:47And what do we have next?
01:49The corners.
01:50The fact that this piece is very sturdy, it's very important.
01:53You can see there is reinforcements and we choose one of the best quality to hold your grow tent.
01:58The trail is the Scrognet.
02:00That's I love it.
02:01And what do I have next?
02:03A little piece of metal.
02:05At first, when I opened the first kit, I had no idea where this goes.
02:09But that's going to be used for your controller to hold it on your grow tent.
02:12First page will tell us to use the A part to build a little square frame.
02:17And that's the part A.
02:19So we're going to take those four pieces, put the corners and that's going to give us that square.
02:24All right guys, quick tips.
02:25So if you want to know where you're going to put your grow box, in your room, in your house
02:29or whatever,
02:30you can actually use that frame and understand where your grow box will sit.
02:34So for example, I think I'm going to put my grow box here.
02:38And I can now understand where my grow box will sit.
02:41Instead of setting it up and trying to move it in your room,
02:44always use the first square to understand where it will be.
02:47Step number two, it's putting the pole on the corners.
02:50So we're going to use the part B and C and put them together.
02:55Let's grab the B first.
02:56That will be the bottom part and let's crack it open.
02:59So now here are our four B parts.
03:02What side are we going to put it up?
03:04The little clip has to be on the top part.
03:06Why? Because the female part will come and clip it in.
03:09To do so, just put all your weight,
03:11make it kicks and then you're good.
03:13And now the C part, which is like I mentioned,
03:16has a little hole.
03:18So the little pin we saw before can just go inside and clip it.
03:22Push it a little bit, clip it.
03:24This one, and there we go.
03:26We've got our false poles.
03:28And now the next step, we'll be putting the square,
03:31same as the bottom, on top of it.
03:33So this is also the A part, is the step number three.
03:36We're going to put that square on top here.
03:39And now we have to clip it.
03:43Step number four, very simple,
03:46is to put your hanging bar on top.
03:48My advice, there is two different types of hooks.
03:52One long hook and one short hook.
03:54So they can actually overlap when they're above there.
03:58One hook size,
04:00same hook size, and we clip them.
04:04And that's the first one.
04:06Try to have them, the hook,
04:07pointing in the same direction.
04:09So when you're going to hang them,
04:10it's going to be easy.
04:11Second one, big hook.
04:16Again, approximately the same alignments.
04:19So it's easy to hang, pointing in the same direction.
04:23And lucky last, a big hook.
04:26So I guess you have understood,
04:28two big hooks, two small ones.
04:30So they can actually be on top of each other.
04:33Big hooks first.
04:35Why?
04:35Because they will be sitting at the bottom.
04:37So first one clips here.
04:38Second one, put it a little bit in diagonal,
04:41align everything, and clip.
04:43Same story.
04:46Now, the small hooks one.
04:48Like I mentioned before, it goes on top.
04:51Hook it here.
04:53Hook it there.
04:54Clip it here.
04:55Clip it there.
04:57And you can see this one is actually sitting on this one,
05:00making the whole structure super sturdy.
05:03Look, I can get carried on it.
05:05Here's the big baby.
05:06Let's try to put it out.
05:08So that's the main box.
05:09And inside, what you will see is the bottom part.
05:14That will collect your water,
05:15and you're going to put all your pots sitting on it.
05:18So you're not going to put some dirt in your grow box.
05:21And that part can be removed and cleaned very easily.
05:24All right, guys.
05:25It's now step number five.
05:26We're going to put the top like a beanie.
05:28So on top of the frame and slide it.
05:31And then we're going to put the bottom part
05:33and slip it underneath.
05:36And there we go, guys.
05:38Top part in.
05:39Bottom part in.
05:40Now we just got to zip it.
05:42And the work is done.
05:43Too easy.
05:45Up.
05:45We don't close it fully now,
05:46because we have the zip at the bottom to bring back
05:49just here.
05:50So let's do it.
05:52And that's easy.
05:53All right, guys.
05:54So now we're going to install the bottom part of the grow tent.
06:00So we open the grow tent.
06:02We pick up the first corner.
06:04We open our scratch.
06:05And we're going to fit it in the corner of the grow box.
06:08All right, guys.
06:09You remember that little piece of metal?
06:11Check it out.
06:12This will be held to hold your controller just right there.
06:16You slide it in.
06:17So your controller will be sitting here.
06:19And the metal plate behind,
06:21there is magnets on your controller.
06:23So it's going to stick on magnets.
06:24Now we finish the setup.
06:26The frame and the grow tent.
06:27And the next step will be the equipment inside.
06:30There is one quick strap here that is in scratch
06:34that you can use to attach it here.
06:37And it will leave your door wide open
06:39without bothering you in your own ways.
06:42Now it's time to take care of our environments.
06:45So we will start with the airflow.
06:48For this, we have our dock fan.
06:50We have 150 millimeters fan.
06:54It's RQS branded.
06:55This is how you're going to put the electricity in your controller.
06:59The controller doesn't have any wall plug.
07:02It will be alimented and fed up in electricity by this device.
07:06So there is something that is important as well,
07:08is the airflow direction.
07:10So the air comes from the bottom and end up in this direction.
07:12If you don't know which part to put it, always look at the arrow on it.
07:17Once we're finished with this one opening it,
07:19we will actually plug it into the carbon filter.
07:22Here we are.
07:23Nice baby.
07:24So same diameters on your inline fan.
07:28So they plug in each other very quickly.
07:30And you don't need any adapters.
07:31Every fan has a right carbon filter adapted to it
07:35between diameters and CFM.
07:38And we do the big baby, the carbon filter.
07:43So guys, my advice, be careful because sometimes
07:46carbon filter has a little bit of carbon in it.
07:49And wash your hands when it's installed.
07:53So when we have this, we have two things.
07:56We have the body of the carbon filter,
07:58but we also have a sock around it.
08:00This sock will allow to actually filter the dust
08:03before going into your filter.
08:05And when it's dirty, you have to clean it.
08:08And you can also replace it with a replacement sock.
08:11There you've got some hangers to hang your carbon filters.
08:16Now it's time to put our inline fan with our carbon filter
08:21and connect them together.
08:22So when we open it, what do we have inside?
08:25The connection is very sturdy.
08:28And you have some ducting that you're going to use
08:30to put the air out of your grow tent outside of your environment.
08:35And some extra clamps in case you need to hold anything else.
08:38So it's pretty easy.
08:39You have to look at for the airflow.
08:41We want the hot air that stinks to get renewed.
08:45And we want fresh air.
08:46So that direction, you can put it there.
08:49And we're going to put the connector and the inline fan together.
08:55I need a screwdriver.
08:57With those clamps, you can actually a flat one or a Phillips one.
09:01Here I've got a flat one, but it will work very fine just as well.
09:05And now it's just one piece.
09:08It holds together super fast, less than a minute.
09:11We're going to use this adjustable hangers.
09:14So very easy.
09:16You can see that those places, those hooks needs to be on the carbon filter.
09:22So you will see some rings here.
09:24Just clip it.
09:26Okay, guys, now the two hangers are in place.
09:28It's going to be time to hang our carbon filter.
09:31So I'm going to use the adjustable hangers.
09:36I'm going to take as much as I can of rope.
09:40I'm going to do one loop here.
09:43Clip it, clip it.
09:45And then that's when the fun starts.
09:49My favorite part is bringing it up there.
09:57Voila, super easy, right?
09:59Time to put the ducting.
10:00And for this, we will need only one clamp that we found in the accessory box.
10:04Let's do it together.
10:07What I like with those ducting pieces we provide you is that they've got a little lip here.
10:12You just slide it in here.
10:14You bring the clamp up to the end and then you can start screwing it.
10:20The ducting is in place.
10:22So we got two options for the exhaust.
10:24Whether we go on the side part, whether we go on the top part.
10:28Myself, I would rather go up.
10:37Okay, so my ducting is now in place.
10:39And it's time to align my carbon filter with my inline fan.
10:46And voila!
10:50Alright guys, now it's time to discuss about the brain of our grow tent.
10:54And this controller will be placed on our grow tent just right there.
10:58Whenever you're going to put it here, it's going to be super stable.
11:02Next piece will be the clip fan.
11:05Super important, that fan will allow your canopy to have a mixed and homogene air.
11:11It has a nice clip that will clip onto your sidebars.
11:15And then you can change the inclination and the direction.
11:22And from there, you will plug it directly into your wall.
11:26With this cable, I will be able to control it with my controller.
11:30Now it's time to open the carton box of the LED panel.
11:34We do have that little box, super important.
11:37What's inside, it's actually the hangers.
11:40So those metal wires will be put on your LED panel.
11:43With this, you get a perfect balance.
11:45We have a RG12 cable.
11:50Next things are the adjustable hangers.
11:52Exactly the one that we use to hang the carbon filter on the inline fan.
11:57This is the big chunk.
12:01Let's try not make it fall down.
12:03So that driver is not in its final place.
12:06We will have to put it in the center when we open the LED panel.
12:11First, we're going to unscrew the driver.
12:13Then we can take away the driver.
12:16We remove the little plastic protection.
12:18And from there, we're going to open the panel.
12:21We will put it in the middle.
12:23We've got two extra screws that have been waiting for us here.
12:26Like the same that I had here.
12:27Check this out.
12:28This is now in the middle.
12:30And my panel cannot close itself anymore.
12:33We take those wires.
12:34We will take two little hooks.
12:38So two of those.
12:40And we will actually hold them in those little rings on the side.
12:46I will take one little loop into my hook here.
12:50This way, I'm coming into my hook.
12:53And as you can see, now I have a perfect balance.
12:57And I will do the same on the other side.
12:59Now our hook side in place.
13:01Time to hang them.
13:03Very simple.
13:05Straight in the hook.
13:06We put the two hooks just up there.
13:09Tighten well.
13:10Go down to our adjustable hangers.
13:16And start to pull it up.
13:18And I think if I leave it here, it's actually leveled.
13:23So you have a perfectly flat LED panel that will distribute the light evenly on your plans.
13:29Quick tip here.
13:30With the extra cords that you have.
13:32I usually do a little round and a little node like that.
13:36So I can have them and adjust the size always.
13:39We're going to start putting sensors.
13:40We're going to put the wall plugs to the main equipment.
13:44First cable.
13:44We have two here.
13:46The wall plug for the fan.
13:47So it's powered.
13:49And we have the control.
13:50So this will be USB-C wall plug at the back of your fan.
13:55And this part will go to your controller.
13:58Next cable.
13:58That will be the RG cable that goes from your light to the controller.
14:02And this is our last cable that we need to plug within the controller.
14:06And that is your sensor.
14:08So the sensor has to be at canopy level.
14:11Make sure this is not directly under the light.
14:14Otherwise the light is going to heat it up.
14:16But also it's not underneath the canopy.
14:19Our lights directly to the controller.
14:22Same for the inline fan, the clip fan and the sensor.
14:26Let's do it.
14:27So we will start with the first one which was the last one we installed.
14:30The sensor.
14:31It's blue.
14:32And the plug is blue.
14:33Once you've been plugged here, you can always put back your cable through this.
14:38Because there is a little opening in below.
14:41So you can always slide back your controller.
14:43Next step.
14:44Put the RG cable from the light to the controller.
14:47There is only one plug that is in RG.
14:50And it's this one.
14:51So pretty hard to miss.
14:53This inline fan with this plug will bring electricity to your controller.
14:57Your controller doesn't need to be plugged on the wall plug.
15:00We put it out and you will see that there is two little logos of fans.
15:05You have to put your inline fan in the second one.
15:09So the last thing we're going to plug in our controller with the grow tent kit is our clip fan.
15:14I have a lot of spaghetti just right there.
15:16But we're going to take care of it and show you how to do these things the nice way.
15:20We have as well some little scratch that will help you to manage all your cables.
15:25It's very easy.
15:26It works.
15:26You just wrap it around and once you go around it will scratch.
15:31So you can do your cable management with those little tights.
15:34And also if you want your black wires.
15:36All right guys.
15:37So now we're going to put that plug through this hole.
15:40Because my wall plug will be on the right side.
15:43So I'm going to pass all my cables through this opening.
15:47But there is different openings pretty much everywhere.
15:49At the bottom, at the top.
15:51So you can choose wherever you want to go your cable with.
15:54But now we're going to use the steel wires to recycle.
15:58To make sure like all those cables are looking a little nicer.
16:01Check it out.
16:02There is no more cable.
16:03Just the sensor.
16:05And when we're going to have a canopy in it.
16:07That's where we're going to put our sensor.
16:08What's the last step?
16:09We've got to close the grow tent.
16:11So you can close for your cables.
16:14But also you're going to need to close from all the ducting you've put.
16:19So just from there, I can close all my tent and make it air tight and light tight.
16:25All right guys, the time has come.
16:27Let's plug our grow tent.
16:29So first, we'll start to turn on the inline fan and the controller.
