00:00Now that Powys Teaching Health Board have announced the intention to consult the future of community
00:05hospitals, there are three things I want to see happening. First of all, I want to see alternative
00:11vision be developed for our services and for these sites. That's why I'm working with the local
00:17doctors throughout Powys to present alternative positive vision. That's what we'll be sharing
00:23with you in the coming weeks. The second thing we want to see happening is to make Bronglice
00:27the centre of rural health excellence. I know there's work happening on that front, but we need to
00:34see positive action in the near future. And the third thing I think we need to see happening is the
00:42future of Powys Teaching Health Board itself. It's time to merge it with how other Health Board
00:47to have a regional approach to the whole of Mid Wales and that's what I'll be fighting for again
00:52in the coming weeks and months. I think the time is right and it won't happen on the night,
00:58but that's the vision we want to present in Gechag.
