00:11um so today i'd like to share my perspective in terms of uh in terms of the medical attention here
00:24so i'm coming i'm just coming from an urgent care which is a facility that takes care of you before
00:31you go to a referral hospital so this particular urgent care is not far from where the referral
00:41hospital is so normally what they are going to do is they're gonna run some tests then after doing
00:47some tests they'll refer you back to if if at all there's need for you to go to a referral
00:52hospital
00:53they're going to refer you to the referral hospital so i haven't been feeling well in terms of the
00:58sore throat and um had some migraines yesterday on thursday uh which prompted me to come to the for
01:07a check-up uh thinking that it could have been um covet 19 but the good thing is it's not
01:18kobe 19
01:18so it's just a normal sore throat which is which is which has been caused also by a virus so
01:26i've been
01:26given a prescription to go and pick from uh from a pharmacy which is not also far from here so
01:32normally
01:32what happens once once the the doctors initiated and also checks your the medical condition they refer
01:41you to the cv to the pharmacy which is closer to you so normally here there are there there are
01:47two
01:48pharmacies uh that is all greens and then the cvs all greens apparently is not performing very well and
01:55um there was an indication of closing some of the branches in america and also in uk i think so

02:04and also the doctor mentioned that i was very lucky that i didn't get covid and uh because there's a
02:11there's a small percentage of people who are contracting covid and um so it's a it's high time that people
02:18need to get vaccinated and also take care of themselves in terms of health wise so join me
02:25as we go to the cvs to pick my prescription so guys i've reached uh the cvs pharmacy um this
02:34is the
02:34one which is located in lodi so i'm going to do a drive-through so that i can pick my
02:39prescriptions
02:41then uh um i think i'll have to co-pay because i'm using my insurance then i'll co-pay for
02:48the balance
02:49which they will ask so as i said most of these actually no hospital has uh medicine or drugs that
03:00they keep in the hospital so once they they give you a prescription they're gonna email it to cvs or
03:10any other pharmacy that is convenient or closer to you so that you'll be able to pick so in front
03:16of them three three vehicles which are going which are being drive-through and uh this one is
03:23there was uh there was a friend of mine who was saying that americans are very lazy but i think
03:27americans are very innovative in terms of uh minimizing time and also not just going outside
03:37um it's actually basically saving time and uh also reducing some movement inside the store
03:45but at the same time um it is also reducing some employment when um people don't go inside because
03:52uh there won't be security people people arranging the shelf um and so probably also some cleaners
03:59uh cleaning the shop uh cleaning the shop so and so on but i find this one to be uh
04:04convenient uh
04:05because uh they they serve you very fast because they don't want people to be in a queue for a
04:11very
04:11long time uh and also it's summer um being inside the car it's also very hot so let's wait in
04:22the queue
04:22so that you can see what transpires so i'm the next one it has taken me like five minutes to

06:00so they're not getting my bio in the system but uh they're looking because i've given them a hard
06:06copy of this description to check and uh so that they can match it on the system but as well
06:12i'm the
06:13one who's creating traffic uh behind but uh they're going to service me in a very short time
06:22so why americans complicating things such as date of birth and the measuring the actually the weights
06:31like for example i'm telling them i was born on 7th june so they are interchanging the the month with
06:38the date they can't find my bio on the system so i had to give them the prescription that's where
06:45they
06:45checked and uh realized that they have inputted the the wrong month and the date of birth so they
06:51couldn't find my name so they're working on it they will be giving me out the prescription
07:02so i'm co-paying five dollars which is also manageable a lot so if you have your medical
07:10insurance you're lucky in america but if you don't have medical insurance you are in for it very
07:17expensive uh to be be attended by any medical um practitioner and also to get um any medical
07:28attention so uh i've already given out my cards and my details okay thank you so that's uh
07:43so these are prescriptions okay thank you
07:50so we are done process of picking up my medication here they are so but normally it doesn't take long
