In a cramped room, bathed in the grayness of dawn, a girl lies. Her bed is an island of chaos—sheets tangled, pillow crumpled, as if she’s been fighting an invisible foe. She sleeps, but her sleep is shallow, restless. Her body twists, turning from side to side, as if trying to escape the approaching day.

Outside the window, the world wakes slowly. The first rays of sunlight pierce the curtains, painting golden streaks on the walls. Birds begin their concert, and the street hums to life with the murmur of cars. But she can’t sleep deeply. Something holds her—perhaps thoughts that won’t rest, perhaps dreams that blur in the half-sleep. Her hands clutch the blanket, as if trying to hold onto the night.

Morning is relentless. The girl opens one eye but quickly closes it again, as if she could trick time. She shifts once more, chasing the fleeting remnants of sleep that slip away like sand through her fingers. Finally, she tries to rise, exhausted but ready to face the new day. Outside, the world waits, full of possibilities that might just bring her peace.
