00:02It is awful that this horror has come to our doorstep.
00:08And as the mayor said, unfortunately, it is not a surprise.
00:13Just a few weeks ago, as we saw the ice surge come to Austin, especially to north-central Austin,
00:22I and others said that ice needed to leave before someone was shot, like in Minneapolis.
00:29Or like in Corpus Christi, or like in Chicago.
00:33And that day is here.
00:37And so I think the message remains that for Austin to be safe, ice should end its surge here in
00:48our community.
