00:00Your Pittsburgh Pirates today managed to outscore your Pittsburgh Steelers 4-3.
00:06Wow.
00:07I've been to a few of the games in New England when things didn't go well.
00:12I've seen it.
00:13I've lived it.
00:15And, man, this offense is a tough, tough watch.
00:19And like so many of you, well, maybe not like so many of you,
00:22but like some of you, the thought that the hiring of Mike McCarthy
00:26would mean at least one really positive thing.
00:30They would not be nearly as awful to watch on offense.
00:35They would at least have some splash plays, put some points on the board.
00:39May not be good enough to be a contending team that we're all craving,
00:43a playoff winning team, which, you know, we're almost in a decade without one of those.
00:48But this team is hard to watch.
00:52And much like the tradition that Mike Tamlin, you know, established so many years ago,
00:58we as a Steeler nation will have to endure as many three and outs as anyone in the history of
01:05football.
01:05Three and out is the way that the Steelers always like to start a football game.
01:11Yeah, you've had an entire week to put together an offensive game plan,
01:15maybe a 20, 30 play script that maybe you can run the plays that you know are going to work.
01:21You're going to take a good long look at what the Patriots do defensively.
01:25And when you get that ball on Sunday, after a week's worth of preparation,
01:30you're going to be able to get out there and say, this is how hard we work this week.
01:34Watch us put together a nice sustained drive.
01:37Maybe we'll get a field goal.
01:39Maybe heaven forbid we'll score a touchdown,
01:41but we're not going three and out every week, are we?
01:43Yeah, we are.
