This is a lighthearted urban romantic drama centering on Ah Kuan (played by Lawrence Cheng)—an ordinary city man who is not particularly faithful in relationships and often finds himself in comical situations. Ah Kuan has reconciled with his wife, Anna (played by Carol Cheng), and the couple is poised to resume a harmonious life together. However, the arrival of a young secretary causes Ah Kuan’s attention to wander. Her clumsy nature and the fact that she is pestered by unwanted suitors prompt Ah Kuan to look after her attentively, eventually causing the young woman to secretly fall for him. A two-day business trip to Japan turns into a romantic escapade. Upon returning to Hong Kong, however, the secretary decides to marry her dentist boyfriend; she assures Anna that her relationship with Ah Kuan was strictly professional. Yet, the truth inevitably comes to light—both the dentist and Anna discover the affair—leaving Ah Kuan to face yet another test in his relationship.
