Progressive groups staged a protest action at the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace—EDSA Shrine on Sunday, Sept. 20, carrying the message, “Never Forget: Hindi Mababaha ang Katotohanan.”

The mobilization was held a day before the 54th anniversary of the declaration of martial law and also marked one year since thousands took to the streets seeking answers over the flood-control scandal.

The groups renewed their calls for truth, justice, accountability, and an end to corruption and political dynasties. (Video courtesy of Santi San Juan I MB)
