Mayor Isko slams acts of vandalism during youth protests in Manila

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso reacted to the vandalism at the Lagusnilad Underpass, where rallyists spray-painted slogans and markings across the walls during the city’s International Women’s Day protest on March 8.  He made the remarks during his speech at the Monday flag-raising ceremony at Kartilya ng Katipunan in Manila on Monday, March 9.  Domagoso called the acts irresponsible and a waste of public funds, stressing that such damage shows disregard for Manila and its residents.
