The first movement from the superb ‘La Catedral’ by Agustin Barrios Mangore. Inspired by the compositions of J S Bach following a recital in a cathedral, this concert work is considered standard repertoire to any guitarist.
The opening movement here often features in academic syllabuses such as ABRSM, LCM & Trinity as a Grade 8 piece. The full 3 movements combined are pitched at Diploma level. Either Associate (Level 4) ATCL, ALCM or Licentiate (Level 6), LTCL, LLCM - depending on which exam board you refer to.
