Senator Robin Padilla said in a Facebook post on Friday, Sept. 18, that he no longer plans to run for public office, citing his young children and his desire for a quiet Islamic life.

On the other hand, Padilla also suggested six individuals whom the public could consider as potential running mates of Vice President Sara Duterte in the 2028 elections.
