00:19And Salt Lake City Housewives is back, which we love these ladies and the show so much.
00:22But of course, this premiere episode was a different vibe than we're used to with Salt Lake City,
00:27but a beautiful, heartbreaking one because, of course, it was filmed before and during,
00:35like right when Mary's son, Robert Jr. passed.
00:38Yeah, it was a really emotional episode.
00:41Also, I mean, on the bright side, all the girls gathered together in one spot to get Meredith and Angie
00:47Kaye in the same spot.
00:48Kind of a feat to get Lisa Barlow and Whitney in the same spot.
00:51Kind of a feat.
00:52So all the girls reunited, united for the sake of Mary and her grieving process.
00:58But, you know, throughout the premiere, we remembered the drama and the why they, because it was when we all,
01:06they all were together.
01:07And I know, I think Angie said it.
01:09And also Mary just did an interview before the premiere saying that when Bravo was like, you could take a
01:14year off.
01:15You could do whatever you need.
01:16And she kind of, Mary was like, and be sad and alone by myself.
01:19Like, this is going to be part of her healing process.
01:22And she's like, these women are all I have.
01:25So I love that they are there for Mary and that we will be able to also, the entire fandom
01:31and people who watch the show are able to support her too in a way.
01:33But it was when they were all sitting down, I was like, well, these girls all do get along.
01:37What are the problems?
01:38And then they did help, thankfully, remind us every sense of the way, when you had a drag brunch that
01:44she was, I think she forgot that drag in a drag brunch means like drag kings and queens, not like
01:49drag everybody, you know.
01:51Drag she did.

01:54There were some messy Salt Lake City fans in attendance who asked her questions about Lisa and Meredith.
02:02And when she answered those questions, she wasn't so nice.
02:05I mean, as Meredith said, at least she finally admitted she hates me.

02:11Whitney told her truth.
02:13She doesn't like me.
02:14In fact, she hates me.

02:18That, you know, that really is comforting to hear.

02:28And she was saying that when she's in the room with Meredith, she oftentimes forgets she's even there.

03:02But Whitney in the premiere, she does say repeatedly that it was a lapse in judgment and that she was,

03:09It was, you know, the energy was messy.
03:11And she says that she feels sorry about it.
03:14I do not like what I did or said.
03:16And I feel really bad about it.
03:19I'm hopeful that apologies will be accepted.

03:24She's like, I think I feel it, but I'm not.
03:26Yeah, and I don't know if she ever will apologize.
03:28However, she does express an intent to apologize.
03:31And also an intent to not drink.

04:15You know, even going through those marital woes to then choose not to drink is, I mean, that's really, that's

04:22You know, so if that was a coping mechanism previously and she's dealing with everything that's going on in her
04:28marriage with Justin and she's choosing not to drink, like, that's pretty impressive.

04:34And also, like, I'm down for her and Bronwyn to become a little more official.
04:38I love that Bronwyn was like, we're noticing that people are noticing us, noticing whatever she said.

04:47Whitney and I have noticed that other people have noticed that we notice each other.

05:57Apparently, they walked a carpet together in recent months.

06:01She was being out loud about it.
06:03And, well, yeah, I guess this was the perfect time to debut her boyfriend because I had no idea about
06:07her secret boyfriend, who she's known since 2016.
06:10And she was explaining the lore of their relationship, how they first started dating when she met him, when he
06:15came to do like manly fixer-upper Bob the Builder things at Beauty Lab and Laser.
06:21And after they dated, she found out that he was messaging other girls, texting other girls, other women, and that
06:29made her really uncomfortable.
06:29So she called things off, as she said, for the duration of that time ever since, when she would date
06:34a guy or hook up with a guy, she was always thinking about chirrup.
06:36So finally, they reunited.
06:38They seem cute together.
06:39They seem really happy together.
06:41It seems like she's very happy.
06:42I do hate that that's like part of the history that he was texting other girls.
06:46I know.
06:46But I guess we all evolve, change, and grow.
06:49And as long as she's happy, and she really seems genuinely so-
06:52She does.
06:53Like she's like a, she's a goofy good time girl with him.
06:56She's like radiating joy.
06:57And I like that they both connect on the fact that they're-

07:17Um, Meredith and Lisa have their link up to be like, so Whitney sucks, and I got a facelift.

07:47I think she called it a facial rejuvenation, a little tightening and snipping.
07:51And we have seen, because we went to, um, believe it or not, we've been to a Bon Jovi concert
07:55with Meredith recently.

07:56So, we saw her facelift IRL.
07:58We didn't know it was a facelift then.
08:00I was just like, I didn't know.
08:01All we knew is that she looks so f***ing good.
08:02I was like, Meredith has, I was like, MSG lighting hits her so well.

08:09And she looks so good, and she was, of course, with Seth there, and he is so handsome.

08:40John doesn't apologize a lot, but when he does, he really, really means it.
08:45He was just really turning me on, and like you said, he looked good as f***ing his confession.

08:50And so Lisa's in a grilled cheese moment, because if you notice, she cooked grilled
08:54cheese for her kids with goat cheese, by the way, sounds delicious.
08:57But then at the dinner with Meredith to talk some s*** about Whitney, she ordered a grilled
09:02cheese and tomato soup.
09:03So it's just, it's that time of year.
09:04She's craving it, yeah.
09:05I kind of love it.
09:05I think that they filmed, I don't know when they filmed this, maybe in the springtime,
09:08but she knew it would air in the fall when it's like grilled cheese season.
09:11Yeah, and like, how they're making brownies.
09:13It feels really, yeah.
09:14Cozy, yeah.
09:15Yeah, it feels cozy.
09:16I know.
09:16I'm curious how and when Whitney will have her conversations with Lisa and Meredith.

09:22I don't know, and I do love that.
09:24Well, I don't love, but it was really beautiful to see that the episode ended with everybody
09:28coming around with Mary.
09:29Do you know what really broke my heart was seeing-
09:32Yes, the dog going into Robert Jr.'s room.

09:38I love you, little boy.
09:40I miss him.
09:42Smelling the clothes and Mary saying how close they were and that the dog kind of just knew
09:47by smelling the clothes and sniffing around in the room.
09:49I was like, this is so devastating.
09:51And I just, I don't know how Mary is handling-
09:56She's a strong woman.
09:56Herself.
09:57She's so strong because when they met up at the end of the episode after the celebration
10:00of life for Robert, all the other housewives, because I think that Mary's church,
10:04they must grieve in a very specific way where it's like, it's just celebratory and like
10:09a joyful experience.
10:11Because I think for a lot of people, you know, it's like you are all black and you're crying
10:14and you're sobbing and it's like a super sad experience.
10:16But everyone was so delightfully shocked and pleased that it was a really, they called
10:21it a homegoing.
10:22I guess that is kind of, that's not a culture I've ever experienced, but it seems like everyone
10:27really enjoyed that.
10:28And it seems like Mary, at least in this moment, felt at peace about the situation.
10:34She did cry a little bit, which like obviously, but she was kind of right.
10:38Like you can only do so much, you know, like I feel like if I was in her situation, I
10:42would
10:42probably feel a lot of guilt, but she shouldn't and she doesn't.
10:47And it's like remarkable that she has already moved into that phase of grieving and hopefully
10:53doesn't feel those feelings of guilt.
10:54Well, also it's, her son was suffering from a disease that no one could have.
10:58You know what I mean?
10:58It's not, it's a stronger power than anybody can control, you know?
11:03And we're sending Mary so much love because we just love our Mary so much.
11:07She's just such a force.
11:09And I'm glad that the Salt Lake City girls are by her side.
11:12I'm sure they will piss her off this season.
11:14And hopefully, um, their, uh, drama could maybe distract her.
11:19Yeah.
11:19It's a good distraction to film housewives and also a good distraction to just see Heather
11:22gay wearing a leprechaun costume.
11:25I still need to know more about that.
