00:33According to the Daily Mail, Spencer described the alleged comment as evidence of Charles's
00:38pent-up contempt for Diana and his reaction to the enormous public response to her death.
00:43Buckingham Palace has now issued a pointed response to the claim.
00:47A spokesperson for the King told Page Six that Charles is mindful that the pain of fraternal
00:52grief can affect a person's judgment and memory, even many years after a loss.
