00:02Sweden's Conservative Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced his resignation on Thursday
00:06after the left-wing opposition won a slim majority in parliament in the country's general election.
00:12The complete vote count showed that the four left-wing parties hold a three-seat majority
00:17in the 349-seat parliament. Magdalena Andersson, leader of the Social Democrats,
00:23said discussions towards forming a government have already begun,
00:27adding that she hopes to regain the prime minister's job which she lost in 2022.
01:06The opposition's small lead was initially uncertain but was confirmed after early votes that didn't arrive
01:12at polling stations by election day, including overseas ballots, were counted.
