00:00The USV is the unmanned surface vessel
00:03and the goal of this system is to integrate into a family of systems
00:08for littoral explosive ordnance neutralization.
00:10Specifically, the USV is intended to do wide area search missions in calm waters
00:16and also serve as a communications relay for the family of systems.
00:22Unmanned systems have always been a part of the EOD family of systems
00:26but now we're expanding that into maritime systems
00:29that allow more endurance and less risk for operators.
00:34It also increases that operator or my section's ability to maintain maritime domain awareness with a smaller team.
00:43The events were very successful. Everyone was communicating well.
00:47The platform itself had long endurance and gave us good results
00:53in order to refine and further develop the capability.
00:57I'm very proud to be a part of this program
00:59and to be a Marine that is on the leading edge of innovation here.
